Situated in Siwa in the Marsa Matrouh region, Paloma Lodge has a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has private entrance.

All units in the apartment complex are fitted with a kettle. Accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor dining area and a private bathroom with shower. The units will provide guests with a fridge.

I was originally supposed to only stay one night at Paloma Lodge from 6 Nov to 7 Nov, but because I enjoyed my stay here so much, I decided to extend for 4 more nights, only checking out on 10 Nov instead. Paloma Lodge is very well located, with only about 5 mins’ walk away from Siwan town centre where all the restaurants, cafés and shops are located. Apart from that, it’s only a stone’s throw away from a fresh water spring, where it’s perfect for an early morning or mid-afternoon swim. The host, Captain Nair, is super kind, warm and hospitable! He made me feel very welcomed and because I was a solo female traveller, he would check on me when I’m out later in the evening. In fact, he invited me to dinners at the lodge with lovely meals, either prepared by the good Captain himself, or his lovely housekeeper, Safie! The lodge is very tastefully decorated and kept very clean. The one-room apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and was sufficiently equipped with kitchen appliances, such as; electric kettle, toaster oven and a fridge. I will definitely stay at Paloma Lodge again, when I come back to Siwa!! It was a very enjoyable and cosy homestay which felt like you are with family. A home away from home.

Located in Siwa, Talist Siwa is a family-owned eco lodge that offers a Siwian-style accommodation huts, a swimming pool, a restaurant with an external terrace and a relaxing lounge.

All rooms are fitted with Bedouin, handmade carpeted floors. Each one includes a small window and comes with a private bathroom.

I'll start with how breakfast was thoughtful and delightful! Definitely worth waking up for, so fresh! They have the most thoughtful and helpful staff and in addition to their own staff, they are well connected with the community. They were able to arrange everything we wanted to do, and typically under a very tight timeline. They also have a lovely little shop that his packed with local delights. I was visiting with family but it was a trip I took with my sister and our children, and notably without any adult male. As a single mom, it is always important to be able to feel safe and secure in new places. Talist hit and exceeded the mark here! Would recommend 100%.

Albabenshal is located outside the ruins of Old Shali, a 13th century citadel in the centre of Siwa. It offers a traditional Siwa accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Cleopatra Bath is within 2 km away from the hotel.

The location is great, right at the central market area. (although it is wrongly marked on the maps.me app). The hotel has an very earthy feel. The walls are made of mud and earth, and the earth floor unpaved. A very rustic feel. The manager Mr Salama is a swell guy, easygoing, candid, helpful but not pushy. A good chap to talk to to better understand the Siwa people and life in Egypt in general. He helps guests get to know each other and share vehicle costs etc. They serve very nice dinners, and all the numerous coffee my fellow guests and I had at the fireplace or alfresco, were on the house. Much thanks to Mr Salama and his remarkable staff.

When I stayed at the eco-lodge on Taghaghien island in the middle of the lake, I found it to be a great mix of nature and fun. The huts were cozy and fit in well with the surroundings. I went kayaking, joined some organized trips, and enjoyed tasty food made with local ingredients. The staff cared a lot about the environment, which was nice. Plus, I got to do buggy rides, safaris, and boat stuff, making it an awesome trip for anyone who loves nature and adventure.

Nice location, a few km/away from the city center and it's hustle and bustle but easily to reach in tuktuk and perfect if you wan't to rest in a peaceful and quiet place. Friendly staff with interesting recommendations if you want to explore the surrounding area. My friend and I stayed 3 nights in a hut: simple but exactly what we were looking for. We would've like to spend at least 2 or 3 more nights there in order to enjoy linger the different pools and to see more of the oasis. Thank you and see you soon!

Forest Camp is a little piece of paradise, full of date palms fruit trees and plants The camp is run by marvellous people who I will never forget. So creative and helpful and full of fun. This has been a place very difficult to leave. I loved my hut made of palm fronds. It was very comfortable and atmospheric. There is a pool to swim in and relax by and the Forest people can take you on guided trips to all the sights Every morning I had a delicious breakfast under the trees.

A very special and wonderful hotel in the sense of the word as it is on a completely independent island in the salty Siwa Lake and consists of chalets completely separated from each other The island is located on the middle of a small lake, or is it the water of a large water like the swimming pool and the water out of the ground, and it's a fresh and clean water For the hotel and the standard of the rooms it is not very luxurious but somewhat primitive to suit the nature around it is wonderful anyway

Very interesting and relaxing experience, out of ordinary: you will stay in a hut made by leaves, in a green area of Siwa, but near the city center. There are very good vibes at Forest Camp and Naggar, the manager, is very helpful, calm and lovely. It's highly recommended (if you are not looking for a luxury accommodation). I will definitely come back here if in town.

We love it’s isolation - away from the busy, populated streets like Cairo. The location is a few metres away from the natural Salt Lake with a private cabin for public use but it seems not many use it all - a true gem!

If u are looking for peaceful moment, alone, relax, and nice experience in a cabin at the desert, this is your place. The breakfast is amazing and Jawad (the guy was working there) is the number 1 reason I enjoyed the place. He made everything nice - so check if he is still there, without him my days would be complicated. the place is close from a very nice spring hot water.

This place is perfect to stay at and get the feel of old Siwa. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary this is it. The little shutters on the windows made my friend very happy and she was able to sit outside the room in a private spot to work online. The view on the roof at dinner was great! We got so busy with our friends we forgot to go for actual dinner but it is the best breakfast in town! The staff is very kind and we had some good chats.
