We liked everything about our stay. This was the much needed detox from our work & our phones. We were lucky there was a lot of snow and could really enjoy the idyllic scenery. The cottage has so many windows so you can really feel at peace and enjoy being surrounded with nature. It was super cosy, actually had the best slep ever, it was clean and it was an adventure going back to basics, heating our water for showering and stacking woods to warm up the house. Lovely! Will definitely visit it again.

Amazing location and house. Really good place to relax with friends or family. House is very well equipped. Toilet has all necessities, gas grill is good, kitchen is well equipped and wood was prepared for us to use it for the wood stove to crate fiery winter atmosphere. We were also provided with two sleds, which we could use in the ski resort, located just 2km from the house.

Fantastic location and lovely hosts, very nicely decorated house, with all the facilities you'd need + a sauna room. We went to the snow nearby and had a great family weekend away. Ideal place for a holiday at any time of year!

The view is great, forest is close to the house, but also not to far from the village. House is very cosy, equipped with everything you need, just as you came to your home. Burning stove was very practical and kept the whole house very warm. Hosts are very friendly.

The house was perfect! It was a charming mix of old style with modern amenities. It looks like it belongs in a storybook! The location is excellent, right next to the cafe in the ‘center’ of the village. When we’re lucky enough to return to Mrkopalj, we would love to stay here again!

Very nice house in the middle of natural environment up in the mountains. Cool climate in summer makes it nice place to stay whilst visiting the coast and Krk Island (40 min). Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and everything is taken care of.

A wonderful place! Quiet and calm! The house is located near mountains and forests. Inside the house is clean and cozy. There is everything you need for cooking and living. On the street there is a room (tavern) with everything necessary for cooking meat. The hostess of the house is a wonderful girl who worries about your peace of mind when living in the house.
