The bungalow was placed in the most beautiful surroundings in the jungle just before entering the forest. Great friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Helped us to set up the most amazing tour in the jungle finding orangutans. Fantastic place and highly recommended!

wonderful staff which goes out of their way to make your trip perfect. flawless and highly reliable organization including airport transfers, an unforgettable jungle tour and even to go to a local wedding. accommodation was spotlessly clean set amidst a beautiful garden. the tour guides on the 2 day orang Utan jungle tour were Johnny assisted by Risky, and both were simply awesome, always looking after my safety, and Risky scouted to find orang utans and we saw 7 up really close away from the other groups. I especially liked how respectful Johnny was with these amazing creatures, ensuring we keep a respectful distance but giving me lots of time to observe and enjoy. the overnight stay was highly memorable, we had PI as our private cook who cooked 5 different delicious dishes and a very tasty breakfast. can only highly recommend visiting Bukit Lawang and am sure there is not better way to experience it by staying at green Travelodge.

I loved the location of the jungle lodge, it was perched on a jungle hillside... truly amazing😍 I had Ian & Jeffrey as my guides & they were very informative and helpful throughout the jungle trek. Yanta was another assistant & I couldn't be happier about it... so kind & friendly :). Awesome experience! I will be back one day!

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!

I also stayed in one of his convenient rooms before and after the tour. He also is very helpful with every other Inquiry such as laundry, shuttle etc. The food in the restaurant is also very delicious. Would always come back to stay here !

After being unwell for a few weeks, it was the perfect place to rest, relax and enjoy some comfort. The staff is amazing and so friendly, the food was great, the huts are so cute, clean and comfortable, and the overnight trekking tour was incredible and very well organised. He made sure I was really comfortable and even took me to the ATM, which is in the next village (bring enough money to Bukit Lawang!). Bryan is very active in animal conservation, so Booking a tour with him is a really good idea. He and his team really respect the animals. I had a wonderful time!JeanetteSolo traveller

Jhonny, Kela and the rest of the Lucky Bamboo family are amazing and will take care of everything for you. The rooms are really clean and the cabins make you feel like you have a beautiful treehouse in the jungle. They will also organise the best jungle trek for you, with Kela, among others, as a guide. That is such a special experience and the guides are so great; they make you feel very safe and comfortable in the jungle. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Ryan, the owner, and the other staff, are the most accommodating people ever.
