Whilst it was central and on quite a busy street, you could barely hear any street noise due to the double glazing and modern shutters, even on a Saturday night! Very good location in the modern part of Palermo, 400 metres from the first stop of the hop on hop off bus, 500 metres from an airport shuttle bus stop, 400 yards from the port (for boat trips) with several restaurants on the door step. All communication with the hosts was done by whatsapp and they were very responsive and efficient.

She made us feel right at home and took an interest in how each day went and helped us with advice on navigating through the various markets. Everywhere in Palermo was accessible by foot from the accommodation, and the airport shuttle from Palermo Centrale bus station was a 6 minute walk away. The breakfast contains a delicious range of Sicilian specialities many of which are homemade daily.SimonIreland
