The setting was totally picturesque with views out over mountains and forests. The extra touches of recliner beds so you could get comfortable inside to watch the northern lights from the glass roof, and lots of choice of hot drink pods for the machine. They had really useful information inside to on local places to eat if you didn’t want to eat on site too. Then the hot tub was utterly define, and kept at temperature so you could you use whenever you felt the need

Visit end Sep 23. One of my top 3 hotels out of over 30 I stayed at during my 5 week trip in Norway. Beautiful location with exceptional rooms, spaces and the most helpful and friendly staff out of all the places I stayed. Amazing food and ambiance. Contemporary and eclectic. Will definitely be back!

We stayed in the the Elva cabin which was delightful- cozy, comfortable, spacious and well thought out. the expansive windows gave us a relaxing view into the forest and the thrill of seeing dogs run by from time to time. Upstairs was a lovely nook. We ate every dinner on site (country style x2, fine dining x1) and the quality of food and service was exceptional. Really top notch. Johnny (Trasti) is highly visible and involved and really cares about his guests and makes everyone feel valued. Breakfast was great and lasted until 10, which allowed us to sleep in a bit. We also had pizza on Friday night and picked up things from the bakery on Saturday. the baked good were some of the best we’ve had. We loved our dog sledding as well- so much fun and incredibly lucky we got to go with Trine! What an experience! We wish we had booked another trip and also wished we had stayed longer. Huge perk as well was being able to visit the dogs throughout the day, even if not dog sledding. We will definitely be back. would recommend renting a car. taxis are very expensive and limited. It’s really easy to drive around and having a car gives you options to explore (like we did) things around the area.

Staying in the domes is wonderful, and if you are lucky enough to see the Northen Lights - you ACTUALLY can just see them from the dome, or run outside and take great shots! It was so amazing. We also loved the second night when there were no lights, but it snowed. It was so romantic and warm to be in the cabin. It was a really fantastic experience.TylerAustralia

Our plane was delayed so we didn’t arrive until late but the host waited up to let us in. Would thoroughly recommend.

Two bedrooms each with two single beds was comfortable. Comfy living area and comprehensive kitchen facilities. Lively campsite with people outside in midnight sun, including children on the go-carts and bikes available for free. Small shop on site selling essentials, including wood for the barbeque huts.
