We had a lovely time at Rancho Estero. We stayed in one of the cabins/huts without private bathroom. The shared bathrooms are kept clean at all times. The property itself is beautiful and has an outside kitchen as well as lots of hammocks in the shade. You can easily arrange trips to Coiba via the hosts- definitely recommend this trip as it was organised so well. We extended our stay since we enjoyed Santa Catalina and Ranchero Estero so much.

They did a laundry service that was 7.50 for a full load which worked out to be really cheap if you found people to share with. There were nice communal areas where people often chatted and got to know each other, but it also wasn't a "party hostel" where you might be disturbed by noise etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The lovely owners really helped us out when we forgot two items in the room, they arranged that a shuttle service brought it with them to our next stay (in Boquete). From all the cabins you can see beach, which creates a beautiful and vacation-like atmosphere. The wooden cabin with private bathroom was clean and big enough for 2 people. The hosts were friendly and helpful
