Set on 80 acres, each Waves & Wildlife Cottage features a large patio offering lovely sea views and outdoor furniture. Guests enjoy direct access to Stokes Bay Beach, one of Kangaroo Island’s most beautiful beaches. We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very comfortable, well decorated, clean and in the most amazing location. On a cliff top overlooking a most excellent beach and the sea. In fact, in our opinion, we would say that this is the best beach on the island. Sad that we couldn't stay longer. As a bonus, this area is a hangout for over 40 friendly kangaroos and a small mob of sheep. So much fun to see.

The property is non-smoking and is set 30 km from Bicentennial Conservatory. Lovely new accommodation. There’s a decent amount of space for 2 people. It’s new. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the bath and shower are lovely. Location wise it’s great to be out of town up in the hills less than 5 minutes drive from 2 very nice vineyards. Major supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive away. You are about 1km from the nearest village and pub/restaurant if that’s important to you. Good attentive hosts happy to provide information on vineyards to visit. Free Netflix is a nice touch if you do t have an account.

Robe Lake Butler Marina is 3.4 km from the accommodation, while Cape Jaffa Anchorage Marina is 40 km away. The nearest airport is Mount Gambier, 134 km from Stony Rise Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Everything. Amazing place, experience and staff. Highly recommend.
