The cabin has its charm. It's spacious and cozy. The lake is just there, a short path through the cedar trees. It was great and little thrilling to explore it walking on the ice. ..and the night sky, you don't get that view in the city. Most of the cottages and cabins were vacant so it was pretty tranquil. The hosts were really nice and welcoming.

The bed was really comfortable. The location of the cottage nestled in the forest was so peaceful. There are many fun things to do in the area, hiking trails, swimming, venturing into nearby towns and taking in all that nature has to offer. Lisa and Ian provided everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this off the grind oasis! I will definitely visit Barkview Hideaway again!
