The place was lovely and the rooms were very spacious. It is a little far from the centre but we opted on renting bikes which took about 10-15min (there is also an option for a taxi that was around 5e per journey). Well worth the distance for the beautiful hostel and tranquil surroundings. The hosts were lovely too and very accommodating, we made friends with their cute cat and dog. There is a pool to chill in and it was good for some astro photography due to low light pollution from the town.

Just a 20 minute walk from the town centre, Planeta Atacama Lodge offers accommodation in the desert of San Pedro de Atacama. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Franklin and his wife Carla run an amazing B&B, a little outside the city which makes it a very good spot for star gazing. Since we came by ourselves with a rented car, Franklin gave us very good tips of where to go, suggesting routes, helping us with purchasing tickets for the places we wanted to go and giving us restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is generous and personalized and even when we needed to leave very early one day, they made an effort to leave a snack for us to go.

Offering a garden and garden view, Cabañas Rica-Rica Lodge is situated in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote and 28 km from Termas de Puritama. The unit was well equipped. It was nice to eat in the private courtyard. Staff were very accommodating

Situated 7 km south of San Pedro de Atacama, Casita La Brea offers two types of accommodations, a two bedroom house, and a private apartment. Free private parking is available on site. Absolutely stunning location, and great apartment. Very comfy huge bed!
