Set on wooden cabins built on trees, Reserva Natural Tanimboca offers jungle lodging only 11 km from Leticia city. Breakfast is provided, and fishing and wildlife watching activities are available. Loved sleeping in the treehouse in the jungle. It is quite a walk to the treehouse from reception, but staff helped carry our bags. No electricity, but we were provided a large flashlight. We also brought our own flashlights which came in handy. We went on the night walk and loved it. We saw many frogs and spiders. Carmilo was a wonderful guide on our night walk. Great breakfast and the owner shared other fruit from the trees. Great friendly staff.

The bungalows are spacious and comfortable with big bathrooms and good aircon and fans. Nice garden, where you can grab a drink from the hotel’s bar. We appreciated the choice of regional breakfast options (Colombian, Brazilian or Peruvian). Lovely and super helpful staff, who let us store our bags while we travelled out of town and advised on migration process between Colombia and Brazil. Thank you for making our stay nice, comfortable and easy!
