Fantastic hotel a short drive from El Zaino entrance to Tayrona Park (we also walked to the entrance one day which isn't too far but it is on a busy road). The rooms are great and have an incredible view of the mountains. We saw Squirrel Monkeys on our balcony while relaxing in the hammocks. The room also had its own jacuzzi/cold plunge pool. Really refreshing after a hot day hiking. The food from the restaurant was also great. The hotel also has two amazing dogs and an incredible cat!

We enjoyed Polo's culinary skills, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. The chocolate tour was an absolute highlight! Learning about the process while indulging in treats was an experience we won't soon forget. Also the inclusion of local fruits from the grounds was a delightful touch. It felt like a genuine connection to the land and its offerings. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Polo's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!
