David is a wonderful host and created a peaceful special place far away from busy life in Orosi. You are only driving some kilometres, but you will feel far away from everything. The hut is clean and super comfortable, there is everything you will need in the kitchen. Expect to sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the lovely sounds of the night. David helped me a lot with everything, he is living on the ground, he even took me up from Orosi as I had no car. I enjoyed my stay there a lot!

The location, the equipment, the care given to set practical things and to make the trails/sanderos very clear and easy. I definitely recommand it to people wanting to be inspired by nature.

A perfect stop over between Pura Vida Ecolodge and Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side. We were met with open arms and warm smiles and were incredibly well looked after throughout our short stay. It genuinely felt like we were at home... Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a really beautiful set up, stunning views, wonderfully kept gardens and basic but comfortable cabins. They even managed to make some tweaks in the kitchen in order to offer us a super tasty vegan evening meal and very yummy breakfast. Gracias Antonio y amigos, we'll be back and for longer next time - seems like there is SO much to explore in the area!

Offering free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Corredores del Pacuare is situated on Pacayitas, from La Suiza district (Taxi station) 11km North, at this point you will find the San Vicente intersection from... Very good experience. The hotel is somewhat remote (9km drive on unpaved road). Gilberth (the owner) is a very nice person. He really helped me when I got stuck driving a small FWD car, and prepared a very good breakfast. Highly recommended place to stay, but I would recommend driving a 4x4 in that area.

Ubytovanie Finca Y Granja Loma Bonita sa nachádza približne 49 km od miesta Jardin Botanico Lankester. Ponúka výhľad na hory a má balkón a kávovar. Ricardo, Mario and Daniel have been so helpful when the cluches of our car did not work anymore just few meter before the chalet. In the end the chalet was great cocoon with a stunning view and very friendly dogs (especially Napoléon said my son) ! A real 4x4 car is really needed when climbing and to be done at Day Light ;-). But in the end we had a really super adventure with incredible hosts. Thank you Ricardo for your help with the rental car company and the cars and thank you Daniel for the cheese ! We hope to come back and enjoy even more your place with a real 4x4 car this time !
