Fernando was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious, the cabin was amazing, and the location could not be any more beautiful.

This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

Das Playa Negra Guesthouse begrüßt Sie in Cahuita direkt am Strand. Alle Unterkünfte verfügen über einen Sitzbereich. Schöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer gelegen. Man muss nur über eine nicht stark befahrene Straße und schon ist man an einem tollen schwarzen Strand. Der Pool im hauseigenen Garten ist groß und sauber. Sehr viele Tiere im Garten. Wir haben keine Faultiere gesehen ind der Besitzer ist mit uns zwei mal auf die Suche gegangen und hat uns dann am Strand sogar welche in den Bäumen gezeigt. Zimmer etwas dunkel aber dafür recht kühl. Leider ist kein Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe, dafür aber mehrere Restaurants und ein food truck der auch smoothies verkauft

Delphine and Bert were consummate hosts, the breakfast extraordinary, and the aesthetic of the cabin, the pool, and the surroundings exquisite. Simple elegance, done with the refined taste of an interior designer and architect. Each choice, from the food to the furnishings to the burbling dipping pool attached to the cabin, was done with such attention to detail and with such care. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, from the wild sounds of the howler monkeys to soothing sounds of more than a dozen different birds in the space of a few minutes (identified with Merlin, the Cornell Ornithology ID app). On one day, we were rained out of our adventure, but returned happily to the front porch of our cabin to read in the Adirondack chairs. We felt not only well-taken care of, but in the company of intelligent and worldly hosts. Passion Fruit EcoLodge merits our unconditional praise.
