Satta Lodge offers you a unique experience in the heart of the Caribbean jungle and 700m from Cocles beach. This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

Beautiful trees plants and hummingbirds. Cabins are very nice and super clean. Everything is provided in the kitchen and fresh water provided as well.

We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus. The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

We enjoyed it very much. We saw more animals on the hotel grounds than in the national park. Good access to the beach. Very private. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful interior. Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Very nicely and comfortably designed. We had everything we needed. A quiet, restful stay right across from a lovely beach. We even cooked dinner some evenings by the pool area. The owners are delightful and very accomodating. We couldn't have had a nicer time.

We have stayed in many places around the world, few as satisfying as Passion Fruit EcoLodge. Delphine and Bert were consummate hosts, the breakfast extraordinary, and the aesthetic of the cabin, the pool, and the surroundings exquisite. Simple elegance, done with the refined taste of an interior designer and architect. Each choice, from the food to the furnishings to the burbling dipping pool attached to the cabin, was done with such attention to detail and with such care. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, from the wild sounds of the howler monkeys to soothing sounds of more than a dozen different birds in the space of a few minutes (identified with Merlin, the Cornell Ornithology ID app). On one day, we were rained out of our adventure, but returned happily to the front porch of our cabin to read in the Adirondack chairs. We felt not only well-taken care of, but in the company of intelligent and worldly hosts. Passion Fruit EcoLodge merits our unconditional praise.
