Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours. Large, artistically designed cabanas in the jungle,abutting Corcavado National Park. This site has it's own naturalist who was very knowledgeable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The sounds of the jungle were very relaxing.

Set in Barrigones, La Amapola Lodge, Bungalow en Península de Osa. Offers accommodation with a private pool, a patio and river views. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Place, surrounding, wildlife was stunning! We saw more animals than on the Corcovado NP tour! Team was very nice and helpful and prepared us delicious meals 😃

With Rincon Beach reachable in a few steps, Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. This property is beautiful. I loved how it is right by beach, literally from my bungalow to the beach was a 1 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, I loved the large front porch where you can sit outside and enjoy coffee or read and watch all the wildlife. This place is also run by a native tico family, and they make you feel like you are at home. There is a restaurant and bar on the property with great food and drinks!! You can grab a mojito and chill in the hammocks by the beach to watch the amazing sunsets. A little tip I would say is it bring cash because you will need it for boat rides and it’s better to pay for tours and food with cash to save some money on taxes. The WiFi is not the fastest speed but I was able to work completely fine from it. I would definitely recommend staying here, this place is absolutely gorgeous.

Set in Cabo Matapalo in the Puntarenas region and Tamales Beach reachable within 200 metres, Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and... If you love animals and like to be surrounded by nature, then this is the best place to be. While we were there we saw hummingbirds, macaws, toucans, halloween crab and two different types of monkeys. All of them in the garden of the property. The plants and trees attract the animals. The hosts are very friendly and gave good advice about things that can be done nearby (e.g. horseback riding). Their 3 dogs and 2 cats are adorable. We miss this place already. Be aware that you are in a less-developed area of Costa Rica with limited options of restaurants.

Amazonita Ecolodge is situated in Dos Brazos in the heart of the Jungle, 16 km from Puerto Jimenez. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. Zephirin has created a paradise at the end of the world, which is nicely taken care of by Zulay and her husband. It is really at the end of any roads and tracks going into the jungle (4WD recommended). But this is what we liked most. We stayed in the last cabin with a huge rain forest behind us. Our cabin was open, though very nice and clean. We could stay endlessly on the terrasse, observing the rain forest with all its animals. Never do a Costa Rica trip without Corcovado and Amazonita Ecolodge!!! It was clearly our highlight (and we have seen a lot other places)!

Situated in Palo Seco, 15 km from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. WOW! This place is a GEM! We were not expecting the beauty and serenity all around us. The paved paths to the main area were so beautifully maintained and landscaped! Our bungalow was secluded and very clean. The owners, Jutta and Alex were so gracious and we enjoyed meeting their family, as well. It had a very 'family' feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious and we chose to stay and buy our dinners there. We're so glad we did. This place is small and there was only one other couple there so it had a very intimate feel to it. My husband and I loved hiking all their trails and saw so many birds and monkeys there! Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, warblers, wrens, parrots, and more! The monkeys came through the forest every afternoon, making spectacles of themselves and added to the joy of our stay. Oh...and don't forget to take a cacao tour! This place is a cacao plantation!! (we brought some cacao nibs home with us and they're perfect for vanilla ice cream topping!)

Surrounded by tropical rainforest, with waterfalls and nature, Luna Lodge features incredible nature tours, yoga, spa treatments, an organic swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever been. So many animals just around the resort. Corcovado NP is close. Beaches are close. Excellent food. Beautiful pool area. We stayed in a tent. you had 188 steps to master to get there. Some exercice but fantastic view from the patio.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Kalea Yard Hotel is located in Puerto Jiménez. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available in this tropical lodge. No breakfast, but great coffee! The host was friendly and helpful. She arranged a taxi for me when it was time to leave.
