The bedding was clean and very comfortable, and the tea & coffee facilities were a thoughtful touch. The communal shower and toilet facilities were also clean, with hot water.

If you want to stay near the coast without the hassle of hotel check in/out's, NCP carparks or on street parking etc, i would choose here everytime. We will definitely be returning again. It really is a little gem of a place for a peaceful stay.

The one bedroom chalet has been beautifully decorated with lovely bright colours combined with wood elements. The kitchen has an excellent oven with everything you need to cook up a storm ! The cottage was very clean, warm & very comfortable ! It was extremely hard to leave our temporary home away from home. Michael the host is very hospitable and cares greatly for his guests' happiness & comfort. There was a wonderful welcome pack with a very nice box of chocolates & wine. Excellent communication from the moment of booking until we left. We enjoyed his company so much that we shared time over coffee. A clever, delightful man ! Woodies is a self-catering accommodation in Peasmarsh, only 2.5 miles from the historic town of Rye with its cobbled streets, harbour, nature reserve and bird sanctuary. The historic towns of Hastings and Battle are just under 10 miles away. Free WiFi and free parking are provided at the property. location was great, ideal for a taxi to Chapel Down Vineyard. It was self catering but biscuits , milk , tea and coffee were provided.Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely walks around Hastings country park and in our favourite Old Town area with plenty of bars and restaurants to visit .
