Bellisima Campagna Cabin Pelekapina - Chania Crete er staðsett í bænum Chania og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. The Cabin is so beatiful, comfy. Perfect location, a bit outside from the old town and we had our parking spot. The host(Stavros) was so friendly and he had for us, vegetables and fruits from the Garden. We ll be back soon! Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

Villa Strata (a path to Psiloritis mountain) er staðsett í Kardhamianá, aðeins 37 km frá feneysku veggjunum, og býður upp á gistirými með garði, verönd, grillaðstöðu og ókeypis WiFi. Villa Strata was an amazing stay, super clean and fully equipped. We stayed there for one night and immediately fell in love with the place, the house, the village and the locals. Michalis was an excellent host, always available for help and recommendations and he made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Flammingo colour valey house er staðsett í Palekastron, 500 metra frá Maridati-ströndinni og í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Kouremenos-ströndinni, og býður upp á garð- og garðútsýni. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach er staðsett í Episkopí- Retaxo og býður upp á garð og sólarverönd. Chania-bær er í 34 km fjarlægð. Excellent location and facilities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Also, the food from the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended.

My recent stay at this charming wooden cottage nestled in the tranquil Cretan countryside was nothing short of idyllic. Set away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the usual tourist spots, it offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The attractions and the sea are conveniently reachable, ensuring that you are not too isolated from the vibrant local life. The cottage itself, though compact, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an exceptionally cozy place to live. Each morning and evening, I had the pleasure of dining outdoors in the garden, enjoying meals while gazing out at the rolling hills dotted with olive groves and the distant sea—pure bliss. The outdoor fire pit added a rustic touch to my evenings, perfect for grilling local produce under the starlit sky. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the alfresco cold-water shower, which provided a refreshing and almost ethereal experience under the moon's glow. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, eager to share their knowledge of the area and point out hidden gems that enhanced my visit.
