We stayed there for one night and immediately fell in love with the place, the house, the village and the locals. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

Set in Episkopí- Rethimno, Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach offers a garden and sun terrace. Chania Town is 34 km away. The property is in ideal location. on the mountain but walk to the beach. Very calm. It offers restaurant service using great ingredients and local family recipes. The owners are hard working people with big hearts. I felt at home.

Set away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the usual tourist spots, it offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The attractions and the sea are conveniently reachable, ensuring that you are not too isolated from the vibrant local life. The cottage itself, though compact, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an exceptionally cozy place to live. Each morning and evening, I had the pleasure of dining outdoors in the garden, enjoying meals while gazing out at the rolling hills dotted with olive groves and the distant sea—pure bliss. The outdoor fire pit added a rustic touch to my evenings, perfect for grilling local produce under the starlit sky. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the alfresco cold-water shower, which provided a refreshing and almost ethereal experience under the moon's glow. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, eager to share their knowledge of the area and point out hidden gems that enhanced my visit.
