Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

On the eastern edge of Vatnajökull National Park in the Icelandic Highlands, this hostel has nature baths and a café on-site. The location was excellent, in a peaceful place under the mountains and glacier. The staff were very friendly, they even rang a bell when the Aurora Borealis was visible. Spacious rooms. The hot tubes outside. Breakfast was very good.
