Boasting a balcony with pool views, pool with a view and a garden, Kurumba Villas can be found in Bentota, close to Bentota Beach and 3 km from Moragalla Beach. The chalet style apartments were spacious, clean, surrounding a good size pool. Would stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Waking up in the middle of mangroves and palmtrees, hearing the sound of the ocean was just the perfect start for our Sri Lanka trip. Food and drinks were delicious!

Manthally Cabanas offers unique, handcrafted cabanas in a Jungle setting just 1.5 mile inland from the beautiful Narigama Beach and 2 miles from Hikkaduwa Beach. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.

Very relaxing room, close to everything but still away from the shops and restaurants noise. I highly recommend! The host was also very caring and made very nice breakfast.

Impeccable service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout our stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

Set in Unawatuna, 1.2 km from Bonavista Beach, Sky View Cabin Unawatuna offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. We had a very nice stay. The propery is unique and picturesque. The host was very helpful and arranged a perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Must book when in unawatuna.

With Ahungalla Beach reachable in 600 metres, Ocean Pearl Cottage offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a private beach area. It literally is a guest house to fall in love with! Our stay at Ocean Pearl Cottage was absolutely fantastic. It was characterized by top-notch quality that made us feel as though we were sleeping in a hotel rather than a guest house. Our room and bathroom were all spacious, immaculate, and so pretty, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable, to the point where saying we loved it would be an understatement. I cannot say enough good things about the owner here! When Sam, the owner of this guest house, is away working on a ship for extended periods each year, his friends step in to manage the property in his absence. We were fortunate to meet Sam, who proved to be the most exceptional host throughout our 2 1/2-month trip through Sri Lanka. Sam is incredibly kind and always goes the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of your stay is flawless. The breakfast was truly exceptional. Each morning, we were treated to a diverse spread that included fresh juices that were simply fantastic. He even provided vegan options for me, which I found to be not only delicious but also greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, I was already struggling with a dry cough, and he prepared an ayurvedic drink to help me feel better - showing his thoughtfulness and care in a way that meant a lot to me, especially because I did not ask for that. Throughout our stay, the owner was incredibly attentive and funny, always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed engaging in conversations with him about life, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we will always remember fondly. He even cleaned our room after a few days without any additional charge, providing fresh towels, and allowing us to use his fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, he offered us the use of his scooter for touring around at no cost. And that's not all - he even cooked dinner for us three nights in a row, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight.

The accommodation was very comfortable and quite worth the price. The people running the villa and incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so delightful. You can also rent a scooter from them!
