The lodge is located close to the Fish River Canyon's main entrance. The rooms are spread around this well designed lodge. The swimming pool is a great place to enjoy the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom incorporated natural material to make it a very pleasant place to have a shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sunset walk up to the hill overlooking the property. The buffet dinner was delicious with a great selection of dishes.

Our visit to Alte Kalkoefen Lodge was a highlight of our Namibia trip. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The lodge exceeded our expectations in comfort and cleanliness. Another highlight is definitely the food they serve. Suuuuper delicious! The genuine friendliness of everyone there was remarkable. A special touch was receiving a jar of their delicious relish at departure, a favorite of ours during the stay.

History and hospitality in a completely unique setting. We loved it. Pictures are not showing all the beauty. Stargazing, drinks at the pool and lovely views. Orange river and the desert in a combo. Eco luxury at its best!

We so enjoyed the amenities and the fabulous restaurant: the staff are very friendly and efficient; the food (for vegetarians) was delicious and the accommodation was very comfortable!

The landscape is fantastic, the staff is really nice and healthful and the food was amazing. We wished we could have stayed longer.

C15 üzerinde yer alan Kalahari Game Lodge, Namibya ve Güney Afrika arasındaki Mata Mata Sınır postanesine sadece 20 kilometre mesafededir. Orman evinde açık yüzme havuzu ve restoran bulunmaktadır. the hotel is fantastic in a very remote location. very nice landscape, super food and a nice swimming pool. the staff and managers are also very friendly. We did the lion tracking with Nelson. Very nice experience. Thx to you Nelson we will be back

A hidden jewel situated near the border with South Africa and proved to be an oasis for the traveller. A place to be quiet, rest and be pampered by caring and efficient staff. We have and will continue to recommend the Lodge.
