The house is so beautifully designed with the windows overlooking garden and pasture. It was also very serene and quiet - just what we needed. I would definitely recommend it to stay!

Lake Lodge Motel is 15 minutes’ walk from the famous Polynesian Spa, and 5 minutes’ drive from Rainbow Springs. Rotorua Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Lake lodge is a 2 minute walk from The famous dining and entertainment area known as Eat Street. The CBD is a short 5 minute stroll. The location was great. Opposite the lake and a few minutes walk from Eat Street. John, reception, was excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Room was wonderful too. Very spacious 2 good sized bedrooms, large living/dining/kitchen area. Well equipped with hob, microwave. Toaster, nespresso machine with pods, large fridge. Even given some fresh milk for our tea/coffee. Nice shower room and toilet. Plenty of towels, very comfy beds. Was extremely clean. Nice small, warm pool, garden area with bbq and seating area. Cannot fault anything. Had a great stay.

The rooms at BK’s feature kitchens with microwave, comfortable recliner armchairs and satellite TV. Guests have access to on-site laundry facilities, safe luggage storage and bicycle storage. Very clean and great facilities. The size of the room was also quite good and it was a very comfortable stay. Very good staff and was very cooperative. The supermarket is just opposite and that was very helpful for us as we did use the kitchen facilities in the room. It is a 800 metres walk from the area with a lot of restaurants, which was very convenient.
