Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. A wonderful, serene, and very practical place to stay. As well as being quiet (with some interesting bird calls audible in the early morning) and comfortable, it had a very usable kitchen, good wifi, easy parking, helpful staff/owners, great shower (and super-hot), laundry facilities, and was only a short (10min) walk to town.

Offering panoramic views of Lake Taupo, the luxurious self catering apartments at Baycrest Thermal Lodge feature free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The shores of Lake Taupo are only 100 meters away. Nice and clean in a quiet location. Hot tub was a plus. Friendly owners and staff

The Dome Waikino is located in Waikino. The accommodation is 23 km from Waihi Beach, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. Such a beautiful, natural and convenient location. It was also very private! We were greeted by the alpacas upon arrival and Amir was an amazing host! he even provided us with firewood to make a gorgeous fire at night. He was very responsive to our messages as well - a lovely host who gave us so many local tips and tricks. We will be coming back again! Highly recommend this unique spot, perfect for couples!

Located in a rural setting, Podium Lodge offers accommodation 2 minutes' drive from Cambridge. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Each well appointed room has a flat-screen TV. Great price, only a few minutes drive from town. Clean, really enjoyed. Can hire bikes only wish we had more time.

Walnut Lodge B&B offers accommodation in Matamata. Every room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. Very nice host, comfy bed, generous breakfast and close to the town with all amenities.
