The star gazing domes are really cool, overlooking sand dunes where you can go sliding. This Chalet is family run so there is care going into keeping it clean, well equipped & maintained. We did a package tour with Abdulaziz and Mr. Khalid which was great too as it was an addon to staying at their Chalet. The area is very safe, the hosts are such amazing people and would highly recommend staying at Al Rooh.

Situated in Dawwah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Wadi Bani Khalid - Al Joud Green Hostel has a garden. The chalet features a pool with a view with a fence, along with free WiFi. This place is excellent. A beautiful Omani-style house is close to the wadi. Huge suite bedrooms with a private bathroom, three different terraces, a swimming pool, and a place for kids to play. The location is quiet and calm, surrounded by mountains on the way to Wadi. At night, there is not much light pollution, so it is easy to watch the stars. There is a kitchen in case you want to cook something or have breakfast. I highly recommend this place. It is a perfect place to stay longer and relax after several days of a road trip. The owner waited for us, and he was very attentive, always fast-responding, and gave good advice and tips on what to visit..
