Located on the L’île de Marlodge, Cap Marniane offers original accommodation in a lodge on the beach. There is a terrace, garden, private beach area and kayak rental. Very isolated place surrounded by natural ecosystem , quiet and peaceful . Aïssatou the Manager and her staff are so professional and kind . I will definitely recommend Cap Marniane to family and friends .

Les Barracudas is very remote and is a uniquely peaceful place to visit. It was the place we felt the most removed from our busy lives in London and was the top highlight of our holiday to Senegal and The Gambia. There are lovely views over the Delta to soak in. It is very quiet with only the noise of singing birds or local fisherman in the background. The meals are simple, but delicious. It is not high-end luxury, but the environment and location is totally special. The air-con in the bedroom was a welcome addition. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They made our visit feel very special. A particular mention to Adama for being so kind, always saying hello at every dinner and for helping us with our transport away from the lodge. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw lots of birds in the area and were completely relaxed. A true highlight of the trip.
