We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. The location was outstanding. Walking out to the view and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning was amazing. The staff were very nice and the food was delicious.

The place was amazing! located perfectly in the middle of Tarangire national park, so you can see the animals first thing when you wake up in the morning, and watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise in the middle of the savanna. The staff was so warm and welcoming, made sure to help with every possible thing. The food was excellent, we enjoyed it very much! The room was so clean and comfortable, we had very hot water for shower at night. It is just the perfect place to go in the middle of your safari trip, and we most definitely would love to go back!

Providing mountain views, Karatu safari camp Lodge in Karatu provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. upon our arrival we were greeted with cold fruit juice. This was so wonderful we stayed an extra night. The staff was extremely accommodating. We had our clothes washed as well as our car while we were here. Our room was of sufficient size with a beautiful covered sitting area outside. Our meals were well prepared and delicious. The creamy soups were especially creative and tasty. The evenings were a bit chilly. Upon retiring to bed after dinner we found hot water bottles under our blankets. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and our room was bug free. Wi-Fi was good but only in the dining/lounge area.
