I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

The tent was such a different experience than staying in standard accommodation. We loved the animals coming right up to the deck. It was very comfortable, clean and overall an amazing stay. We will be back as well as want to try the other Africamp destinations!

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. It was a great fun start to our road trip. The breakfast basket for two was enough to feed all three of us for dinner (sausages, bacon and eggs with toast) and breakfast (yoghurt, muesli etc)

The guides know everything about the animals behaviour and will keep you safe in all instances - wildlife is at your doorstep meaning no free and unsupervised walks are allowed! The lodge staff offers great service and the food (full pension is mandatory) is delicious, you cannot ask for more.

We loved the spaciousness of the unit and the fact that it was pet friendly. The yards are also very spacious. We also enjoyed being off the grid and not experiencing loadshedding.
