Goris is one of the least discovered places in Armenia by tourists. I would say it is the only city with original architecture surviving. The scenery is outstanding and you see greens everywhere you walk. The pointy rocks in the mountains are unique. People are very friendly BUT the taxi drivers charge tourists double! One of the best place in Armenia for a very natural view . Supermarkets are really affordable . Drawback is communication in English. Rest you can get everything in center of Goris except the supermarkets beside the hotel. Very clean and smooth roads. Swinging bridge is one of the tourist attraction.

The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of the city center and all the main attractions. But the best part of the apartment is the host. He wants to help you as much as he can. I really recommend staying at his apartment not only for one night. The Goris region is really amazing and worth staying more nights to explore it.

We had the best Armenian dinner all cooked by Marietta and most of the ingredients grown from her great garden, homemade vodka and wine were also served. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better we had breakfast the next morning!! Highly recommend
