It’s the perfect little city to use as a base for exploring this area is eastern Tyrall. Call there’s plenty to do here in any season. In the winter there is skiing, paragliding, cross-country skiing, walking through the beautiful valley. In the summer there is rafting, mountaineering, lots of hiking and other outdoor activities. The people are really wonderful and friendly and there are many other places to visit nearby. Just beautiful scenery everywhere you look!!! We found numerous delicious restaurants including Kirchenwirt and Adler Stube. We also absolutely loved the café at the top of Zettersfeld… The ski area. It was so cozy and cute and the scenery was just stunning 360° views of the Alps. Great food. We went to paragliding with the Bruno Girstmair Flight school. Incredible experience. Flying above the alps. Words cannot even describe it

Lienz was a very nice town, with plenty of variety for shopping, drinking coffee and eating the most amazing cakes. The ski lift can be reached on foot or bus. The views from the top were amazing as was the cafe where you can have lunch, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, after skiing..

Beautiful location but didn't have enough time to visit the castle or walk about The Alpine coaster was great, as was the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Stunning views of the whole area and behind. I would recommend Lienz to anyone who is visiting the Alps region. It's a great starting point!
Marlies’ place gets an A+ from all of us. There apartment is spacious, light, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and outdoor space inviting. The mountain view is commanding and breathtaking. Location is quiet, easy walk to grocery and 10 minutes or so to the tourist center and train station. We loved Lienz and there is lots to do in the surrounding countryside. All a home run. Can’t wait to come back - for longer.
The ground level apartment was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had enough cooking supplies. It had a nice dining table and sitting area. The bedroom was big. It is located on the edge of Lienz near open farm land but is close enough to easily walk into town. It is a quiet area. There is a grocery store close by for supplies. Helga was a good host and was helpful. It was an enjoyable stay and Lienz was interesting to visit.
Everything. Location is good - just 1 min from town. Room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. Staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast is amazing! The best breakfast we have had so far in our 1.5 weeks in the Dolomites region. There’s an elevator.
We arrived in Lienz on a rainy Sunday (when everything in town was closed) and we were very happy to have such a comfortable place to relax in for the afternoon and night.
It's in a very quiet area of the city, a neighborhood area. It is about 1 km from the train station but an easy walk with sidewalks .
The room had a traditional Austrian feeling .
We were in room 19 on floor 3 and had a small balcony with a wonderful view of the Dolomites.
Check in was easy and as explained in email .
The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Daniela the host was very responsive to any queries that we had. Lienz is such a beautiful place to visit and I would highly recommend staying here, we were a family of 4 and it was incredible value for money. Happy guests 😊
The Gym and the Sauna is why I returned to this hotel for the second time.
The breakfast was good with eggs & bacon and fresh delicious orange juice.
The room had a refrigerator that worked good. Big clean towels. The bed was hard and comfortable.Good for the lower back.
Excellent experience to stay in one of those houses on the hill in Austria Alps, which you see from the road. Epic view, true classic house, which is so clean and it has everything what you need. You basically like in friends visit for night stay.
The hotel is beautiful, staff were all considerate and provided excellent service. Meals were exceptional and service staff assisted with drink selection. Our room was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and well equipped.
This guest house is a treasure. The wood paneled stube in the dinning room and the plentiful antiques were rare and impressive. The view overlooking Lienz brought beauty to each window each day.
View from Wildauers Room over Lienz and dolomites was spectacular. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet wasn't huge, but with a tasty selection of prepared foods and nice outdoor seating.
The location was excellent. Lienz is small town, so it's easy to walk everywhere. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room was small and functional.
Hotel-level service in an apartment. Everyday cleaning. The excellent attitude of the host. Perfect location with a rising sun mountain view. In the town center.
