We were in the Wrenfield O’leary’s Creek cottage and what an amazing experience we had. The cottage is simply stunning, beaming with luxury and orange red autumn leaves was an absolute cherry on top. Small stream runs next to the cottage and the sound of creek water fills your soul with harmony and freshness. By far this was our best luxury experience in regional retreat. Top notch facilities with Robe's, slippers, spa and heating and fireplace for the cooler months. There has been a lot of thought put into giving travelers a comfortable and a luxurious experience. Thank you, Walter, for your very kind hospitality and making my little anniversary surprise for my husband a pleasant and memorable one. Looking forward to spending beautiful autumn/fall at Wrenfield for years to come. Thank you once again😄😄

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Great breakfast and nice views. Heater worked well too, else we'd be freezing. It's a country style lodging with authentic vintage vibe, great for relaxing but naturally not very fancy comfy.

Loved it years ago, but the main street has been changed alarmingly with the monstrous black 'resort' which spoils the feel of it. The fire memorial is wonderful and parks and streetscape is lovely at the bottom end.
The cafes are great, the supermarket was fine for self catering. Bruno's garden is fantastic - even better than it used to be. Surrounding area - drives and walks at the Meeting of the Waters are still wonderful.

Marysville is a town with beautiful scenery and walking tracks. While there we visited Bruno Art n Sculpture Garden which was truly amazing. Steavenson Falls is a breathtaking place to be. It gets crowded in the afternoon. We arrived there before 9am and was able to enjoy it. There are nice cafes and pubs in the area.

Wonderful short stay, the Steavensons Falls (at night) a must and Bruno’s Sculpture display a definite must do allowing twice the time you think you you will need is an absolute must - this place is world class! The ELKana Lodge was delightful and luxurious to stay! Picturesque townscape and friendly shops, great food and huge shout out to the community resilience for bouncing back after 2099 disaster - the entire town should be proud!

A bit of the drive along a scenic but hazardous road to get to Yarra Valley wineries and tourist sites

Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy.
Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy. Very good places to have breakfast. There are shops for renting snow equipment and chains (if the weather warrants it) Lake Mountain is only a 20 minute drive away.
The only thing is that the mobile phone reception is bad and there is no internet or wifi.
Pro Tip: The information centre has a wifi network which you can borrow to set up your maps or check routes on your phone.
For anyone visiting Marysville and/or the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, this is the perfect location for a stay as El Kanah is very close to both. The room & whole place felt spacious, newly refurbished, clean and spotless. There's also a great playroom for children which was a hit with the kids! The continental breakfast was great too, plentiful. Staff and management were also polite, communicative and helpful. More than happy to stay here again in future!
We stayed in the Harvest Cottage for a Fri/Sat night weekend to relax and go hiking around Marysville. The room and everything about it was in pristine condition and relaxing, including the amazing garden. Right next to the main street but also very quiet, it was so nice to stroll out for a coffee or to the pub. We also bumped into the owners a couple of times who were super friendly and made us feel even more welcome. Planning or next trip back already!
A gorgeous cottage in the quaint town of Marysville. We had the Mistletoe Cottage which had lovely views out to the trees resplendent in their autumn colours. Lovely fire place stocked with wood, comfy bed with electric blanket and bathroom with a spa bath. The cottage is very tastefully decorated with lovely lighting and artwork. Everything you need to prepare meals in the kitchen.
We loved the house, especially how it was a constant heat. So comfortable and equipped.
The people were like family to us, always available when needed and so generous and caring.
The food was great and an excellent atmosphere.
We can't say highly enough about the whole experience, it will be a holiday talked about forever just because they made it comfortable and EASY.
LOVE YOU GUYS.
The building and it's furniture had a nice modern feel to it despite being out in the country. The parking is excellent and convenient. Reception was easy to deal with and the breakfast and dinner service from the staff was brilliant. The whole area and it's location is really all you need to discover Marysville's beautiful scenery, town and the history behind the bushfire tragedy.
Very spacious, clean and well decorated cottage in a great location within walking distance to Marysville. Hosts really took care of us - leaving the heater on before we arrived and leaving kindling and wood for the wood burning stove. Really excellent. The electric blankets on the beds were a big hit with everyone!
The accommodation felt like home after a day exploring Marysville and surrounds.
The rooms were modern and cosy, and we loved the shower and spa. There was everything we needed whilst still having a minimilistic feel.
The owner was friendly and lovely to chat too. Staying at Merry May was a blessing.
The cottage was easy to find and was in close proximity to the market. The property was well maintained and had an amazing vibe. The view from the room was mesmerizing..

It is a lovely cottage, beautifully designed, warm and cosy with beautiful views and in the heart of Marysville. Close to walks etc but also close to shops etc. Wendy our host was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Honeysuckle Cottage was beautiful - very clean, cosy and so comfortable, all in beautiful surrounds. The location was perfect - walking distance to the centre of Marysville and all it has to offer.
