The location is very convenient--right off Highway 401, with lots of parking. There are lots of chain restaurants and stores nearby. We could catch one bus that took us straight downtown. The room was spacious, too, and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of conveniently placed lights and outlets. And the staff was very nice.

Surprisingly there were a lot of very good and high end restaurants. I was not expecting it during April. The 1000 island cruise was ok but not really something that you “must do” or experience. Recommended you take the ferry to Wolf Island (free) just for the ride (stay on and don’t get off at Wolf Island). The walking track along the river was a highlight. The trolly car was also worthwhile. You get to see a lot of the old buildings on the tour. Kingston history is fascinating. You can also go and walk around the University as well.

Kingston carries itself with the poise of a bigger city while remaining relatively small. Lots of Gothic Revival architecture for the art nerds (I include myself on that list) and a friendly atmosphere made Kingston a fun visit. Also some really good bars and restaurants for a town of its size. A worthwhile visit if traveling between Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa.

There are great walking trails along the waterfront and the downtown area was less than 10 minute walking distance and felt safe in the evening. The shops were varied and there were plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs to choose from.

It is a very walkabout city. Waterfront trail is a lovely place to stroll. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the downtown core. Lovely architecture in the old residential section. A few historical sites to visit, although open only seasonally.
Worth a visit

Kingston is a beautiful City in any season.
Kingston is a beautiful City in any season. The incredibly rich history of Canada and the early years of this great country is obvious. There are many restaurants; they are unique restaurants that are full of atmosphere. The quality of food is some of the best in Canada. There are also the normal chain restaurants located across the city. The waterfront is an absolute treat to walk. The downtown area of this city is safe and full of nightlife.
For my needs, the location was perfect. Near hwy 401 for quick access across Kingston, on Rt 15 within a mile of good places to eat as well as 10 minutes from downtown, and next to a A&W/gas station for quick needs. Room was very clean and the AC unit didn’t wake me up like at many motels/hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Greeted by a cool cat as well.
Although an older Motel, the facilities offered a secure, clean, quiet, and affordable place to rest our head. It is located near Highway 401 (hardly hear the noise) and it is less than 10 minutes away from downtown Kingston. There are a couple of restaurants that are walking distance and you can fuel up next door. It is the convenient for all your needs.
The room and bathroom were extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The location was quiet and very pretty. The staff were amazing (a shoutout to Carol in the breakfast hall)! If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable stay not far from downtown Kingston then this is the place for you.
We spent one night in Delta Kingston Hotel. The location was great , the staff were friendly and helpful. The carpet in the hallway of the rooms was dirty but the room was clean . The breakfast was great although the exterior of the windows in the restaurant was so dirty . We asked for a late check out and they accepted it pleasantly.
The hotel was clean and followed all covid protocols!!
They found a way to make the included breakfast work even in these weird times!!
The front desk employee Mark was very polite and helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated!!
Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kingston!!!
The hotel is off the 401 - not in Kingston - which is great is you're breaking up a journey and don't need to be in Kingston. It's spacious, comfortable and clean with a gym and a small indoor pool. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was basic and coffee/tea freely available.
Exceptionally clean no frills hotel. Spacious and bright with bar fridge and microwave. No complaints. Would stay again if I’m looking for somewhere to lie my head when working in that part of town. It is not close to downtown though, so know the location.
Very friendly. Didn't feel like a university. 10 mins walk to town centre. Excellent value for money compared to all other hotel options in Kingston. New building too, so everything was clean and working, much better than you expect for a university halls.
Exceptional hotel! If you are in Kingstone this is the best place to be: prime location, comfy and clean, great atmosphere and wonderful stuff who gives you space but still attend your needs. The breakfast was also great, Hope to be back there soon!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is quiet with lots of green space. Lake Ontario Park is just across the street and it's easy to catch a bus to go downtown. The room had a large window, good wifi access, and was bright and clean.
Have stayed here several times. Great location (quiet, residential)... close enough to amenities, and a very short drive to downtown Kingston/Queen's/RMC. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and a complimentary breakfast!
Newly renovated and everything is new. I think its the best hotel I stayed so far, most of Ontario's hotel at this price are rundown amd old. I appreciate how clean it is.
Everything else was amazing, compared to hotels in Kingston that are more expensive, St Lawrence is way cleaner, more comfortable and in a great location
