Facilities were incredibly clean, roomy and updated. The staff was kind and helpful, and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast looked wonderful, but I was unable to try it due to dietary restrictions. Otherwise, no complaints! Plus, I love that there's a little convenience shop next to the front desk. This came in great handy while travelling as I'm notorious for forgetting little things!

Absolutely beautiful. I don't know why it took me so long to book a stay there. The room was big and bright and airy. Beautiful windows , wonderful natural light. Wonderful spa tub. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfy and the morning coffee is great!

Liked the privacy and quiet (with the exception of the very near train traffic)

beautiful lake, good beach, space for beach volleyball that a group of teens were playing, inflated rafts to play on. Some chairs to use on the beach. The (tiny) bunkies are brand new, very clean, airconditioned! microwave, small fridge and coffee machine provided. It's great to have an affordable place to go to and have access to a Muskoka lake. You would not spend much time in this tiny space, but it's better than a tent, and you have a beach.

We loved the water park for our kids. They had endless fun! We really enjoyed the laid back, family friendly environment and our kids met plenty of friends to play with. The beds were extremely comfortable which is a game changer for future travel to Rocky Crest. We will definitely be returning next summer.
I love Parry Sound for the closeness you feel to nature.
I love Parry Sound for the closeness you feel to nature. If you’re lucky, you might spot a deer walking down the street. A great place to eat breakfast is Trappers. People are so friendly, need to find something, just sop and ask someone on the street. My favourite spot is the tower on the hill.(George Street). Museum is so interesting. Beach is well maintained. I go a few times a year.

Its a very pretty area.
Its a very pretty area. We were lucky enough to visit on dry days even though it was mid September. A little cool in the mornings/evenings so enough to wear a light jacket when required. The town has lots to see and do with different shops and restaurants etc. We would have taken in the Heritage Museum but it is closed Mondays/Tuesdays. However the gardens around the Museum are lovely even in the Fall. Our highlight was the boat trip around the islands. Our trip was a 3 hour afternoon cruise on the Island Queen. Quite a large craft but fairly quite at this time of year, The ship is a triple decker with 2 enclosed decks plus the top deck being open. We found it cool at times but could easily move below where it was warm and still have the same visibility. A lovely experience.

It's a small community, probably a vacation destination.
It's a small community, probably a vacation destination. It seemed to have the basics. We did go to the water front and it was very pretty. I'm sure during the summer season it is gorgeous.

While in Parry Sound, we took the Island Queen Boat Tour. Beautiful scenic views on Georgian Bay! We went up to the lookout tower, and although the tower itself was closed, the area was beautiful and still offered a great view of the water. We went on a hike as well on the Rose Point Recreational Trail. Easy walk but so beautiful!

Beautiful little town with a sunset that is breathtaking and a waterfront that is refreshing! The Trestle Brewing Company was the perfect spot to take it all in ... and their vegan burger is one to try! Even a carnivore won't miss meat with this dish. I'd come back to this town for that burger!
Review from my 10-year-old daughter: Nice bathroom, big closet, comfortable bed. It was cozy. Right downtown in Parry Sound. Comfortable space for a little motel. Two armchairs and a coffee table. The price was excellent. Easy access to the arena for a hockey tournament.
Note from the grown-up: the staff were friendly and helpful.
This is the second time I have stayed and thoroughly enjoy my stay ... the owner is always helpful and accommodating ... What I especially like is the fact that the washrooms are modern ... I always rate a place be it a hotel or restaurant by the cleanliness and modern fixtures of the washroom!
The hotel is brand new and clean. They have an amazing breakfast which has all the options. Our room was cozy and big enough for myself, my husband and our daughter. The beds were comfortable and they provided a crib for our daughter.
The room was very clean and the facility well maintained. The family managing the hotel was friendly and helpful. Also, the location was good as we could walk easily downtown, where the waterfront and restaurants were very pleasant.
Hotel is Brand New and looks gorgeous as soon as you step in. Very Large lobby area, very nicely decorated with neutral colors. Rooms larger than I have normally seen in 3 star hotels. No carpet in rooms which is great.
Hotel’s interior, design and materials used is way above typical Best Western I have seen. Very nice 👍 and clean rooms, comfortable beds and superior breakfast. Staff is very helpful. I would definitely come back.
Nice appearance outside and inside the room; nice throwback reminder of days when motels were popular.
There were some nice upgrades made to the room, and bathroom, but the classic charm was still there.
We had breakfast in the restaurant. It was delicious. Great setting, service, value for money. Trapper's Inn is my preferred place to stay when in Parry Sound if they have availability.
Just on the edge of downtown, this was in the ideal spot for taking a walk all through and around Parry Sound after a long day's drive. Check-in was efficient; room was fine.
A touch of nostalgia: central refurbished mid-twentieth century hotel/motel at the edge of downtown Parry Sound. Large room! Comfortable bed with firm mattress.
