Very pet friendly, great amenities, and walkable distance to Chesterman Beach.
Tofino Resort + Marina is the ideal place to experience Tofino, Canada’s famous west coast surfing destination. Tofino is so much more than surfing though.

We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay.
We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.

Tofino is worth the drive.
Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.

What an absolutely interesting place!
What an absolutely interesting place! And we experienced both a trees breaking, power outing ferocious storm, and some pleasant and moderately sunny weather. Our stay at the Tin Wis Resort was beyond our expectations. We look forward to coming back, maybe in the summer next time.

Visiting in the "off season" was very nice.
Visiting in the "off season" was very nice. Everyone seemed relaxed and there were no crowds. Lots of free parking available. Most stores/restaurants were open. Some of the tour groups were still operating as well.
Co-op was a great place for reasonably priced groceries, including a deli/bakery.
Trails were well groomed and easy to locate. Try to work in the Bog Boardwalk trail as it's a very unusual area.
People were still surfing/kayaking, etc.

The 1.5 hr seaplane flight with Atleo was excellent - stop at a remote lake for a swim, see the coast, the interior, - just excellent.
Food was disappointing - by the sea yet very few served seafood that focused on the seafood - the focus seemed to be on having as many flavours as possible
We loved everything, this was our first trip to hotel zed with our kids. We generally come for our anniversary get away and once again we were not disappointed. The kids loved the hot tub and sauna as did we. Games in the sunken living room was a favourite, dancing in the disco room led to many laughs and of course the arcade was a great addition for them. The skylight at night was so beautiful and having two TVs was an added bonus when it was wind down time. Thank you hotel zed for making our trip so memorable for us all. ❤️
The staff was amazing! From the first greeting as I checked in with my small dog, until the last goodbye when the young man handed me my receipt. I loved that Sparky, my dog, was welcome in the 'sunken living room' lobby bar. It was so delightful to have him with me while I enjoyed a glass of wine and a light snack. I highly recommend Hotel Zed in Tofino.
Loved this spacious room with its amazing view, balcony, floor to ceiling windows. Two large comfortable beds, a useful guest folder containing lots of useful local information, well equipped kitchenette area with coffee machine, microwave and fridge and a spacious bathroom. Located within walking distance of everything in Tofino. Friendly staff
Really enjoyed our visit, thank you very much. The views at Tofino. Longbeach and Ucluelet were absolutely outstanding. The 8 seals and the mink we saw were very cute. Tofino Botanical Gardens is a hidden gem. Seeing the storm from Ucluelet lighthouse was awesome. The staff was friendly and welcoming so thanks for everything.
We lucked out on a last minute reservation at this spot in Tofino. This felt like a little home away from home and was quite cozy. Had a nice hot shower and wonderful sleep before heading off on our adventures. probably the best bang for your buck if you’re looking for a place to stay in Tofino. highly recommend
Every room has nice view. Ours had balcony also and the views are possibly the best in Tofino. Compared to other properties this is better value. Its very close to top restaurants or city centre. Staff is very courteous and the room was super clean , just like new. Would definitely want to come back :-)
We stayed here mid-week and it was great! The room was stunning and clean with a beautiful view. The lounge area was nice and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Tofino. Close to the town and a short walk from the beach.
.Great studio for a three night stay, spacious and comfortable. Good location close to a small complex with a fantastic takeaway.
Harold, the owner, was incredibly supportive and helpful, providing us with lots of useful information about Tofino and the surrounding area.
This hotel is amazing! Comfortable beds and pillows, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, great view and location. Coffee machine in the lobby is good. I have stayed at a few hotels in Tofino; this is the one I have stayed at twice and will always book here.
The room has a wonderful view of the harbor and location was central to Tofino. We also loved that it was spacious, had a kitchenette so we could prepare some of our meals. This was a very peaceful place to stay during our trip to the area.
Large space to suit our 4 person family (2 teen boys). Waterfront views of the inlet were great, enjoyed the deck area to sit and watch the boats. Location was perfect to access Tofino village businesses and restaurants.
The hotel is situated at the end of a street off the main road, which is perfect if you want to experience the nature and stillness of Tofino. The downtown is a short walk away if you need to grab coffee/food/supplies
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is older, but very charming, and the location is just perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel for staying in Tofino.
Location is great, value for money isn’t bad! Our room was decently sized and the best part was your stay includes gym access which was a huge bonus for us.
