Located near central Germany, Frankfurt is not simply the beating heart of the country. It’s also the lifeblood of the European Union.
The German Federal Bank and the European Central Bank are based here, so naturally this is a city where commerce thrives. In fact, the skyline is so punctuated by skyscrapers that Frankfurt is affectionately known as Mainhattan, a pun on the River Main that slowly meanders through the city.
Lining its banks is Museumsufer, a district comprising over 20 museums including Goethe’s birthplace and the Frankfurt Historical Museum. Impressive views of all of this can be enjoyed from the tower of Gothic-style Frankfurt Cathedral which played an important role in the Holy Roman Empire.
In the shadow of the modernist architecture remain traces of quintessential Germany. The reconstructed half-timbered facades in Römer square are picture perfect, and the cobbled streets of Fressgass are always full of locals deciding which café to dine at.
Served by Frankfurt Airport - one of the world’s busiest - this pumping city is always on the move. This means that hotels in Frankfurt gets booked up pretty quickly, so book early with Booking.com to secure the accommodation of your choice.

Frankfurt presents a pleasant cityscape, yet my airport experience left me with reservations. At Frankfurt Airport, there was a noticeable pattern of the police stopping non-EU passengers for document checks just after deplaning. Despite my frequent travels to Europe and holding a multi-entry Schengen visa, I was detained alongside others for an unnecessary 30-minute document verification.
The ordeal extended to passport control, where a lengthy queue awaited us, made worse by a mere three counters being operational.
The baggage claim area, situated in a less inviting lower ground space with a low ceiling and an unwelcome odor, further dampened the experience. After a lengthy wait, it turned out not all luggage had arrived, compounding the inconvenience.

Frankfurt is an exciting and cosmopolitan city.
Frankfurt is an exciting and cosmopolitan city. There are many museums to visit and it is close to the Rhine. There are also many shopping and dining options. The MyZeil Mall on the Zeil (close to the Hauptwache Underground station) is well worth the visit for families who want to shop and dine at an affordable price.

Frankfurt is the only German city to make it into the top-10 of the World's Most Livable Cities ranking. And, indeed, it is a great place merging historic and modern architecture, excellent shopping, infrastructure and food combined with a global & metropolitan feel.

It is a modern city and easy to move around.
It is a modern city and easy to move around. Unfortunately we arrived one day before X'mas day and most of the city was closed for the 3 days we were there. But the gathering of thousands of people at the main square to hear the church bells on X'mas eve was quite an unique experience!

Nice city but stay away from the area directly in front of the train station. Rampant drug use, red light district and gang violence. Been to Frankfurt 10 years ago. I am shocked at how the place has deteriorated in just 10 years.
We stayed only for one night, coming by train from Gunzburg, because we had an early flight next morning. The hotel suites perfectly on our need. We even had the time to reach Frankfurt city center by train, which, by the way, is very close and takes you directly to the heart of the city. The hotel is very comfortable, very well phonic isolated. The family room that we had is very spacious, the bathroom is also big. The staff is friendly and give all explanation you need. The breakfast is rich, plenty of things to choose from.
This is a jem of a hotel and a very good find. Close to Frankfurt Airport, in the woods and despite of it's location under the landing path for the airport, at night there is no flight landing!!! So, we slept very well in the business suite type of room. Breakfast was also lovely and there is a restaurant on site with a wonderful garden, which unfortunately we could not use due to tge rain. We would recommend, if passing by. Parking is paid separate at 15 Euros and the car park is very safe. I'm sure we would stay here again.
This is our first hotel during our holidays in Germany. We like the entire property with a historical story, decoration, room facilities, and staff service. The breakfast was good. The location was quite easy to reach by driving from the airport and the valet parking service was convenient. The location was off the center of the old town but we really enjoyed our 15 to 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the bank of Main, the famous pedestrian bridge of Holbein Steg, and then the city square of the old town.
- The photos of the room are exactly as shown
- The staff was courteous, the check in process was quick and smooth
- They let me store my luggage for the day when I went out to explore
- The kitchen is well equipped and comes with a dishwasher! They've maximised a small space
- Value for money!
- They arrange an airport transfer and is very close to the airport so very conveniently located. There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel which can take you to the Old Town city centre of Frankfurt!
I would say that this hotel is a perfect choice if you want to stay close to city center and to be able to walk around for sightseeing/shopping/etc. The amenities are good and you basically have everything what you need for a comfortable stay. The stuff members are very polite and help you with any inquiry. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Frankfurt + you also find an excuisite restaurant in the 7th floor with the best views in town.
My stay at Moxy Frankfurt City Center was amazing , the staff is really friendly , the food was delicious and our apartment met all of our expectations. The thing we enjoyed the most is that it is really close to the city center , so things like shopping malls and landmarks are just a quick stroll away. Also they have a bar with an area with board games that is opened 24/7. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
Ibis Budget Frankfurt City Ost is my go to hotel in Frankfurt when I'm catching a flight. It is easily accessible from the main train station and is close to both the city centre and the airport.
The area is calm and I felt safe.
The staff was always nice and helpful, my flight got pushed back one day and they let me extend my stay with no problem.
The wi-fi is good as well.
Ideal location if you're planning to visit on foot all the main sightseeings of Frankfurt. Very helpful and polite receptionist. Cleanliness and tidiness all around the place. It seemed newly renovated. Probably the best value for money hotel in the city centre.
I would recommend this hotel because everything is clean and it is in the city centre. I would specially recommend it to people from serbia because one person from Serbia is working in the restaurant. He have us recomendation for sightseeing of Frankfurt
Really nice renovated hotel located across the street from the Frankfurt Airport. Ideal for a night's stay prior to an early morning departure. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities
The hotel is situated near airport, so, it is a perfect place to spend a night before the early flight. The personal was nice. Bedroom was comfortable. There were clean towels in the bathroom.
Nice boutique hotel in central Frankfurt, 7 mins walk from the central station and 5-10 mins walk from the city centre.
Decent spec rooms for the money, nice bathroom, quiet and clean rooms.
Great little hotel in the heart of Frankfurt. So close to the HauptBahnhof so only 17 minutes from the airport to the station. very cheap, at around 50 euro/night. Clean and tidy
The hotel is located in the Frankfurt Airport, and a close walk from the internal train connections. The restaurant options were very good with friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel location was ideal for walking to the Frankfurt city center. The lobby area was very comfortable for getting a drink and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
Very clean, friendly staff, great view to the city but neighbourhood is also lovely. It's not so far from Frankfurt city centre. No problem with parking next to the hotel.
