The room was charming. The property sits right in front of a river with windows that open out right over it. The sound of the water was so peaceful and made for a great night’s sleep. Plus the manager was sooo kind and helpful, a really sweet person.

Beautiful property in the countryside next to a river.
Owner also makes food which you then bring back to your bungalow. We had pizza , salad and patatas bravas, all good. And he has beer on tap.
It's probably the best accommodation I ever booked via booking.com. this place is more like a house than a hotel, and its incredibly beautiful and tastefully decorated. Its run by a lovely couple who are very attentive and kind. They looked after everything we needed and beyond! We had free bicycles to go around and enjoy the beautiful nature. We really felt at home! Certainly staying there when i am in the area next time and also recommending to my friends.
This gem of a hotel was so cozy and I loved having a wonderful dinner meal in their onsite restaurant. We met such nice people during dinner who were also on the Camino and we were able to get more drinks from the bar after dinner and go into a comfy living room to continue our conversations. The owner of the hotel also let us put some items in their refrigerator.
We stayed at Hotel Ambasmestas while on the Camino. We liked the location in the middle of the village. We got the matrimonial room on the 3rd floor under the roof. It was a beautiful room. However, it could get hot in summer. Unfortunately, they only served breakfast at 8:00am. Not practical if you want to leave early morning.
The hotel was exceptionally accommodating when we needed to cancel our reservation, even though we violated booking.com which does not permit changes or cancellations. Flexibility is essential when you are a pilgrim on Camino de Santiago.
Big, very clean room and bathroom, right on the Camino Francés, and a very solicitous staff. Our room had it's own large veranda. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and we enjoyed three good meals there.
We loved the location of this hotel and we had the most beautiful room with a balcony. The staff were exceptional, especially Sarai, who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible!
The staff were exceptional. Sarai helped me to plan my transport out of Ambasmestas, but more than that, she made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here!
The staff, 2 women ran the hotel including cleaning rooms, the kitchen and the bar. Amazing teamwork hopefully when things pick up they will have more help.
