It was wonderful to be served a yummy breakfast. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful old chalet, family run hotel. Train station just across road so getting into Bilbao was an easy option. Walk to local shop and restaurants within 10 mins. Bedroom got a bit hot during the night but air conditioning being installed.

Everyone was very helpful and kind. we stayed only one night as we were returning by Ferry the next day and had little time. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to experience a traditional sense of Basque living and the food was absolutely fantastic made from seasonal and local produce. A wonderful place to stay if exploring the area.

We were able to park our hire car and then it was an easy walk to the station to catch a Metro to the city. Trains run every 15 minutes and were cheap. We had dinner in the hotel which was very good and then had a very comfortable nights sleep. This is a lovely family run hotel.
