The first room we were put into was roadside and noisy and ugly. Fortunately when we asked, the host offered us a better room on the 3rd floor. Still with no view but with a good sized balcony that drowned out most of the road noise. There is plenty of undercover parking and a good bus service into Santander just down the road from the apartment and also several supermarkets very close by. The quality of the room was good with excellent bed linen, comfy mattresses and soft fluffy full size bath towels. Breakfast was adequate for our needs and more if we had wanted it. The price in my view was a little undersold by the hotel, 56 euros for two with breakfast is a bargain! The free car parking is a rarity! Only a couple of minutes drive or 10 minute walk into the town with plenty of shops, bars, cafes, etc. Restaurant/bar at the hotel offered a good varied menu & food was really good. Very close to the port of Santander which makes an early check-in really easy without having to rush breakfast.
