The curtains were good blackout - my daughter had no trouble getting to sleep even while it was still light outside. The family rooms had 2 separate sleeping rooms - perfect for us! We forgot my daughter's teddy and they have called us to organise it's way home - I REALLY appreciate this!!! More comfortable sleeping arrangements than the Ibis Budget on the other side of Troyes for our family :)

A wonderful almost hidden gem, the whole town is a living museum full of lovely historic buildings by chance exactly as they were hundreds of years ago. We continue to be amazed at the sights within the town.
Cannot recommend too much the Chez Félix restaurant in the town centre, great food, lovely staff, very pleasant atmosphere appealing to all ages - and delicious Champagne!

It's a busy town, but our host gave clear instructions to find free parking within a five minute walk. This property is right in the historic heart of Troyes, so you really get a feel for the place. The architecture is stunning - tall timber framed merchant houses, and some other stone built elegant structures too. With just a one night stay, and a ferry to catch the following day, we had nowhere near enough time to appreciate it - and no time to visit any of the amazing churches. We need to come again to enjoy it all properly. We ate at a popular grill restaurant in one of the old timber-framed buildings. It was buzzing and busy, but they fitted us in. We enjoyed local food and some champagne from the region.

The old town is lovely: fascinating architecture and quaint laneways. Not buzzing with cars so easy to get around on foot. Every encounter with the locals was pleasant. A nice place to soak in la vie francaise.

The city centre was easily accessible being level with plenty of restaurant options. The old buildings gave the city a wonderful atmosphere and there are many things of interest to visit. I will return for a third visit.

Troyes is a fantastic, friendly, safe city.
Troyes is a fantastic, friendly, safe city. Easy to walk everywhere and so much to see and do a few days is not enough. The museums, medieval houses, churches are fascinating .It is like walking into history. Don't forget to visit the Mediatheque, the collection of ancient books is amazing. After an afternoon of exploring try one of the many cafes for something yummy to eat. Then take a night stroll down to the canal to see Troyes lit up at night!!
The Logis is well situated for exploring the medieval city of Troyes (pronounced Trois). Reception provided a walking map which followed a route marked out on the city streets with discreet arrows so easy to follow. The hotel has everything you need - a comfortable bed, opening window, excellent shower, good breakfast, friendly reception staff who speak English. There a many good restaurants nearby but advisable to book. Reception also provided a kettle. Parking is on site and very secure. There are even some electric car charging points.
Beautiful apartment - quirky and stylish decor - in characterful building. Spacious double bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, facing on to courtyard. Good-sized kids room with single bed. Large sofa bed in living room. Large, light-filled front room, with full-sized kitchen, facing on to main shopping street (not noisy when we went). Perfect central location in beautiful old town of Troyes. Very attentive and friendly host.
AMAZING location - right in the middle of Troyes - you could not want to be more in the middle of the restaurants, bars and culture in this beautiful city. The parking is right under the hotel (secure and 12 euros a day)The hotel is quaint and old, and seems to be having new carpets! The breakfast was good (though the eggs ran out!) and generally the staff were very nice (particularly house keeping)
The house is nicely decorated and clean, Emily was a great host and made sure we had all the information we needed for check-in and information on the local area.
We only really stayed for one short night whilst we were travelling back to the UK from South of France, but it was the perfect place to stay and was very comfortable.
A very nice surprise to be in a well designed fresh spacious room. Since I had my bike then jogged next morning, the location even not in the old center but very easy to get to. Love the map with suggested route. Hotel has good breakfast facility and spacious. And outdoor area by the canal is excellent.
The cleanliness and the good decoration.
A vast room with a big space so you can feel like it is a very large property. Although I did not met the staff but they were always online to help.
The location is superb. You go out of the building, you are in the historical center of Troyes
Great character, central location, off-street parking; the apartment was spacious and well laid out - part of Troyes huge medieval heritage. Helpful and cheerful staff. Perfect for an entertaining overnight stop en route to The Alps.
No breakfast but a great little hide-out in the middle of the city. We got a chance to have a great meal in the center of town. We used the stay as a stop-over on our way to the south of France.
The staff there is very nice and they have the breakfast ready just for you, at the time you would like it. The hotel is in a 1500s building so I'd say it's quirky and comfortable.
