Darren the manager was extremely friendly and had excellent knowledge of the area. The rooms were exactly what we needed for our trip to climb Snowdon. Very clean and had everything we needed. Excellent location just a 15 minute walk to Snowdon. Great food and bar service with a lounge area to chill out after a long day.

If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.

LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there.
LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you're there to see the sights, make sure you're traveling all around Snowdonia! In particular, some of the northern region has amazing landmarks, such as Corfe Castle.
There's a bus service that can transport you around the area - we stayed in the YHA in Pen Y Pass, and caught the bus from there to the nearest cheap car park in the morning to save some money.

I would have preferred a walk in shower with a bigger room. The hotel was very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Plenty of space in the hotel to relax in .Good car parking space and to Snowdonia railway.,Plenty of walks and overall a pleasant relaxing stay. We would certainly return.
The house was lovely! The best looking property on the street and a great location - 10 mins walk to the start of the snowdon Llanberis route. The owners of the property were lovely and friendly and provided us a great stay with the best ‘free breakfast included’ breakfast we have had at a hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious, a little en-suite to use and great views of the mountains from the windows. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits provided too which was a lovely touch and the wifi was ample and free view TV too
Hotel is set in beautiful gardens and is in a superb location for visits to Snowdonia
The hotel looks very pleasant from the outside - however it is very tired looking inside and needs refurbishing and decorating. When we booked this hotel we did not know we would be given a room in The Coach House which is to the rear of the hotel and this had a filthy entrance carpet and the rooms were extremely hot with no air conditioning. We would not stay here again.
This place is amazing. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for a family of 4 plus. Welcome pack was a lovely addition. Such a lovely location for visiting Snowdonia. Lots of restaurants and takeaways close by in the small town of Llanberis.
Lovely steam train ride around Padern lake and the Mountain railway is a short stroll away. The slate museum is also a short stroll away. 20 minutes by car to Caernarvon Castle or Zip World.
Lovely apartment in he heart of Llanberis, easy access to Snowdon, local steam railways, etc. The apartment was very clean, the main bedroom had plenty of space to set-up a travel cot. The kitchen was fully equipped.
The hosts were very kind and left a little tray of cakes. Communication from hosts was great.
We had a lovely stay and explored North Wales. Diolch yn fawr!
The Pardarn Hotel is at the heart of the Llanberis, being placed in the most perfect location for climbing Mount Snowdon. It’s a lovely 10 minute walk from the start of the Llanberis route, taking the stress away from how we would start our climb to the summit. The staff were lovely, even given us recommendations of what to do in our time in North Wales.
Lovely hostel. Double room for what we paid was excellent. Great shower too. Pizza and a pint deal fantastic. We booked the continental breakfast for 5 pound. Excellent value, the coffee, and Im coffee fussy was the best. Great location, 10 min drive from pen y pass car park for Snowdon. 2 mins to Lanberris. Def recommend this hostel.
Excellent location, less than 2 km from Llanberis city centre and 5 minutes walking distance the bus stop for those who do not drive (although it is highly recommended to go by car). The room is very cosy and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the owners of the place are some of the nicest persons I have ever met.
Great location for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Close to amenities in Llanberis. Short walk to Snowdon Mountain Railway and the start of the Llanberis Path, also less well-known walks such as Mount Eilio. Key in coded box for easy access, free fast WiFi, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.
We loved the location. The beds were really comfy. Breakfast was great and the restaurant had wonderful views. Staff were all polite and helpful. Lovely old hotel, yes a bit tired and scruffy in places but considering a lot of us were using it as a base for hiking I never felt underdressed or uncomfortable.
Ceris was friendly and accommodating and I very much enjoyed my time in Wales. Only a short walk from the high street, Lake and Snowdon paths. The house is nice and quiet which made sleeping easy. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Llanberis area.
Our trip to Llanberis was made so much better with our stay at Alpine lodge. The staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. It was so clean and the shower was amazing after walking up Snowdon! There was a lot of options at breakfast too which was lovely.
Location perfect for a night relax after climbing up Snowdon Mountain. With a private car park , room quiet even though that’s a bar below our room and convenient shop just opposite the hotel. Thanks
The owners who run the hotel are exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive, creating a very friendly atmosphere. Delicious breakfast, cooked to order. Great location for exploring Snowdonia.
the staff were really friendly. always happy to help. The property was in the best place possible for the mountain paths and also for journeys to Betsy coed and coastal towns.
The location was excellent, with good access to the Slate Museum, the waterfall and paths up Snowdon. Beautiful views through our room window. Very comfortable.
Awesome staff, excellent breakfast, best location in Llanberis. Very homely inside. Most comfortable beds ever. Highly recommended. Would definitely come again.
