Village Hotel London Watford features a modern health club with an indoor pool, 2 dining options and sleek rooms. Just half a mile from the M1 motorway, Watford’s centre is a 10-minute drive away.

Our room was a lovely size, very clean and the bed was very comfy. TV was fantastic, great picture. Breakfast was very good. We had a meal in the restaurant, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Our meal was delicious and the dessert absolutely gorgeous (I had the mixed berries Pavlova). Went for a coffee the following morning and again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hunton Park Hotel, hotel in Radlett

This property is located in the rural Hertfordshire parkland, near Watford and is easily accessible from Heathrow Airport. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

During our stay at the Hunton Park Hotel, we were very pleased with several aspects of our visit: Room: The room was spacious and comforting, making it especially suitable for our 2-year-old baby. A cot was provided, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. The room was also very clean, contributing to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel was good. There was a variety of options available, ensuring that all tastes were catered to. The quality of the food was satisfactory, and the dining area was well-maintained, creating a pleasant start to our day. Staff: Neal Khanna was particularly very friendly, personable and helpful during our stay, making my baby and I feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The receptionist was also polite, adding to the positive experience with courteous and efficient service. Overall, Hunton Park Hotel was enjoyable, thanks to the comfortable accommodations, good breakfast, and attentive staff. I would recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.

The Grove, hotel in Radlett

Boasting sumptuous rooms with 42-inch plasma-screen TVs and Bose iPod docks, The Grove is set within 300 acres of beautiful parkland.

So much to love here! Surroundings/Location was amazing. Room (deluxe king) was so lovely, comfortable and really clean! Check in and out was really easy, quick and efficient. Spa facilities were OK, nothing necessarily to shout about, but they were nice. Food was amazing! We dined in the Glasshouse where they have their buffet. Not an ordinary buffet, it's around £80, but the choice is incredible, the quality was 10/10, flavours etc, just amazing. Staff were super attentive. Definitely didn't get £80's worth, but only because I was so full. But it was nice to be able to eat one plate of curry, then pasta then a roast! Great selection. Breakfast was also a buffet and with a great selection once again. Unlike a lot of buffets, it was actually very clean and replenished constantly. We booked as it was our 10 year anniversary, the hotel had some anniversary chocolates waiting in our room which was a lovely touch! Overall, amazing stay, just looking at the diary to try and book 2 nights this time!

The room was a decent size and the en suite was excellent with a good assortment of soap, shower foam, shampoo and conditioner. Secondary glazing kept the traffic noise to a very acceptable level. We had a simple one course dinner on our first night which was nicely cooked and presented. I enjoy a beer and the Youngs was very good. There was a nice cooked breakfast each morning. We were at a wedding so no more main meals were taken at the hotel except for breakfast on our morning of departure. The 11 am checkout gives you plenty of time to pack and depart. Radlett was not explored but it is a very nice spot with access to some of Hertfordshire's visitor attractions. The Red Lion has its own car park which is a very short walk away for which no charge is made. We would certainly come here again!

    It's nothing special.

It's nothing special. You have to be pretty rich to live here, or drive an expensive car! There are some decent places to get food: Indian restaurants, a chippie, Pizza Express, but you wouldn't come here unless you were on business or visiting someone. Also, being on the A5, it's very busy during the rush hour. Don't come here for a romantic getaway!

Breakfast was tasty and generous. The service was excellent, the staff were polite and catered to our needs. For a three-star hotel, I'd say the breakfast was outstanding! The room we stayed in was quite spacious and had complimentary espresso pods. We enjoyed spending time in the sitting area, which doubled as the morning breakfast restaurant. The hotel's location is superb, a 5-minute walk to the train station to get to London and equally as close to the town center where there are restaurants, shops, and other amenities.

Nice hotel, Shame they charged my card x3times for 1 night and then only refunded one of the extra payments. I booked through booking.com - who they tried to blame as I’d booked two rooms-despite me and the friend I travelled with supplying bank statements to illustrate both of us paying, her once, me three times. Still trying to get my money back. a reasonable £75 has turned into a painful £150.

We stayed for our wedding night. They kindly upgraded us to the superior suite for no extra charge ! We were also given two glasses of prosecco each. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, the air con a life saver in this heatwave. We got breakfast to our room which came very quickly and was hot and delicious. Thank you, red lion hotel!

I knew of this Hotel from growing up in Radlett but I'd never stayed in it. I have lived in the North but still have family nearby. My daughter and my grandchildren loved our stay because the hotel is very traditional so much more homely than modern Hotels, plus the staff were excellent
