I liked that the staff were so friendly welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were out of this world absolutely fantastic from size to how clean the rooms were and the food was outstanding. It's a very peaceful calming and a great place for even a walk.

The room was spacious and clean. The whole place seemed new and or recently renovated. It’s above a bar but you don’t feel like it. It was like a really nice apartment that oh by the way there’s a bar down below. Cute little town with lots of places to eat and a nice walk along the water.

Donegal is a beautiful area, rugged and less crowded in April. Would highly recommend this area, particularly to people who like walking/hiking opportunities. Slieve League is a must and Glenveagh castle and gardens, which are open, are charming. Other attractions in the area are worth a visit.

North west Donegal has spectacular beaches without any doubt. There are far too many houses built on land that has sea views, this has to be ignored by any visitors.
The Fanad peninsula was the best place, not as developed.

Donegal is one of the loveliest parts of Ireland and always worth a visit, from the wild countryside to Errigal mountain and the rugged coastline. The people are very friendly and welcoming. This was a short visit, but I have been before and stayed longer.

O' Donnell castle or Donegal castle was the highlight of our stay, plus a visit to Slieve League, as it was raining so much we just travelled around in the care, taking in the views as we could. Donegal is a great County to visit but you need the sunshine to see it at its best. If you visit Ireland, Donegal is a must place to go. Tara Hotel in Killybegs is the place to have your meals, great food great staff.
The Hotel is spotless and a pleasure to be in. Check in was simple and quick, as was checkout. The staff provided excellent service and never faltered in ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was the only meal we had during our stay but was delicious on both days with lots of options. The pool was great and the facilities were above expectation. Donegal Town is minutes away and very easy to get around. There is so much to do and see in the area and we enjoyed every moment.
The location is stunning with views over Lough Eske and its amazing surroundings. We were there for a wedding at Lough Eske Castle and the house was absolutely perfect, just a five minute drive from the hotel. The host, Paul, had a wood-burning stove lit on our arrival and had stocked the fridge with essentials like milk and butter. The house is beautiful, perfectly clean and had everything we needed. I couldn't recommend it highly enough for any sort of holiday near Donegal town.
What a little gem! It's right in the middle of Donegal Town, a few yards from the bus pick up and drop off points. Very clean room, comfortable beds and lovely shower. Fridge came in very handy to keep lunch in (there's a spa shop around the corner that has a deli counter). There is some traffic noise, mainly in the day time, which is to be expected, being right on the Diamond, but it didn't bother us. Staff and locals so friendly as you would expect, will definitely be back.
I booked the property for my husband’s 60th birthday and my son’s 21st. We were staying in Donegal for the night as a treat. The hotel went above and beyond.. we had one room with a lovely view of the river.. the other room was looking out towards the town square. We also received a lovely bottle of bubbly in our room and my son had a beautiful dessert delivered to his room. Many thanks for these lovely surprises. It made their birthday’s that but more special 😀
The location was perfect, room was clean, fresh, modern and well equipped. I have stayed in many places and our room in The Revellers matched places that are rated 4 stars and above. Staff were very friendly and attentive. If you are staying in Donegal Town, you must try this place first. No breakfast but if you can manage 30 yards then a fantastic little café/restaurant across the street
The location is super quaint and peaceful, I can imagine it would be great for a couple to have a romantic getaway. The "tent" was very warm and the furniture was comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with tea and other essentials. The cabin is surprisingly large too, it's bigger than a lot of hotel rooms in Ireland that I've stayed in. The owner is very attentive and helpful.
I liked the wildernes of Donegal and remoteness and privacy, beautiful Arranmore ireland and ferry across, sea food, tranquillity of country site plenty of space for family and an experience of old Irish town, friendliness of locals. Owner was very helpful. Easy access to take aways, restaurants or fully equiped kitchen if you like to cook. Definitely recommend.
The location was great for a wedding we were attending in the MillPark Hotel, it was directly opposite it! It was also just a 15 minute walk into the centre of Donegal Town! Jack, the host was really accommodating and the service we received was great! Beds were really comfy too!
The house was located close to Donegal Town center. It was nice and private. Close to the beach. The house was clean and there was ample space both inside and outside. The host contacted us in advance with details of how to open house and how to use the heating and water system.
Our room was spacious and very clean. Location is just a few minutes walk to the town, which was great for us staying for the day two of a wedding, and was great for a walk to breakfast in the morning - although the hotel does have a lovely restaurant.
Everything was wonderful - location is exceptional with gorgeous views and not far from Donegal Town. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Food is excellent - breakfast has a fantastic choice, had dinner on
This property is a good value if you are looking for a quick stop in Donegal. It was quiet and a short walk into town. the owner has a restaurant in town that was very good.
An old town downtown picturesque setting. Clean facilities with amenities onsite. Nice view of the town circle and within walking distance to other tourist attractions.
Perfect location in a cute town. Enjoyed being in house environment as a nice change from hotel. Excellent hosts!! Very close to next destination, Slieve League
