Very friendly host, very comfortable and spacious apartment. Lots of very thoughtful homely touches, including scones, jam and butter, as well as fresh soda bread when we arrived, and some very comfy blankets to snuggle up in front of TV with.

Ferbane is a nice quiet little town in the centre of Ireland, there are a number of shops and restaurants in the village along with fast food outlets, it is on the river brosna and close to the River Shannon, Clonmacnise is close by as is Lough Boora Wetlands Parklands.

Hennesseys pub. Excellent food,reasonably priced and live music. Gallen Inn does a good cooked breakfast and the Hosts Andrew & his Wife Yeer are so nice. Ferbane is renowned fishing and sightseeing. There's shops and eateries.
