The lobby and restaurant looked like a palace indeed and my room was huge. The staff made me feel like a guest, not like a client. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Baghdad, this one has the highest price to quality ratio. The area around the hotel is good to take taxis to major sights but not very walkable. Breakfast has rich choices. Cleanliness is a 10. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Overall, book it and you won’t regret it.
