Breakfast was not a great selection and the staff did not try very hard. The view was great but the selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruits and fruit juices was poor.

This is a lovely traditional small hotel. The large double room we had was spacious with a really comfortable large double bed and pillows. The decor was lovely, and because our room was at the back of the house, it was really quiet. The shower was great with free toiletries. It was great to have tea making facilities and a small fridge. There is a small terrace with table and chairs outside the room where you can enjoy the sunshine and potted plants. The owner's daughter checked us in, and she was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the station and 5 mins walk into the historic centre and shopping streets. It has good cafes and eateries nearby.
