Pognana Lario is located in a peaceful area with only a 30 minute bus ride to the active, vibrant city of Como. The streets are incredibly narrow so a large vehicle is not recommended. The scenery is breathtaking. The bus also travels to Bellagio, another stunning area with amazing food and wine. Recommend trying wine at Enoteca Principessa in Bellagio. Huge selection of wines and wine sampling offered by charming owners.AndreaUnited States

The grounds of the hotel are beautifully kept, the garden is perfectly maintained, the pool area is big enough and the sunbeds are comfortable. The rooms are clean, we rented a double suite which came with a living room and a terrace with great views of the lake.

You get to eat breakfast on the terrace and can jump right into the water from the jetty. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
