The hotel is located on a place which has a great view, the staff is very friendly and supplied everything we need. There was a bathtub, sugar, coffee packets, and also there was a minibar for every room. The breakfast was excellent.

So much to do and see! 3 nights is plenty, but easy to fill it! Climb the rock, absolutely do a village tour; go for a herbal massage (but prepare for a different kind of massage to normal!); and go on safari! It was a very expensive entry fee to the rock, USD32 per person. The guides around the base are very persistent and can become a nuisance. We had a good tuk tuk ride round the base, which was lovely and booked privately, oh and it's perfectly ok to haggle on the price. Plenty of local cafes and juice bars. Fab place was The Green Hut Hotel, just 10 mins walk from Lion Rock, lovely rooms, great English speaking host and super food. Local temple worth a 15 minute look see. Tuk tuks everywhere and good value. Safari to Minneriya was great, saw loads of elephants.SandraUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We spend one night here.
We spend one night here. Depending on what you want to do it was plenty of time. We arrived in the early afternoon checked into our accommodation and went to Dambulla Cave Temple. The following morning we got up before sunrise to climb Lion Rock, which despite what people say, is worth it. The fee was acceptable for us since it is a UNESCO site. After the hike we had breakfast and made our way further south.

Unlike the other hotels around, Sigiriya Jungles give a more authentic experience since the architecture is inspired by the Sigiriya Kingdom itself not forgetting that the hotel has an amazing view of Sigiriya rock. The food was top notch and ask for the village cycle tour and other activities the hotel offers. Overall great place to unwind and would go there again!

He even took the courtesy to take a few nice pictures for us with the beautiful scenery of the resort. Our suite had a view over the Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala which were mesmerizing in the morning. The resort is very green and cozy. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the dining area is pretty. Our suite was roomy and very comfortable, with lots of interesting design elements. Sabita is a good cook and we‘ve had the best chicken and pumpkin curry! Sigiriya rock is very close and easy to reach from this place. They were very helpful, they organised a national park tour for us and drove us to Dambulla in their car (1000LKR). I was very very impressed with Malits and his story of how he has developed and expanded his homestay.
