Perfect location to visit Deadvlei, juts 5 minutes from the main gate. The camp itself is in a gorgeous location with views over the dessert and the nearby mountains, one of the best sunsets I have witnessed. The rooms are spacious, clean and comforatble.
Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

I was at one of the private campsites. Beautifully designed and built with everything an overlander could want. Absolutely superb! Sites well spaced with about 400m between sites. Highly recommended.
Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole.

Nice breakfast and dinner options. Location is perfect! Look no further, it is commercial but they take good care of you. Staff is great and there are plenty of options in the area!
We stayed at the Desert Camp, not far from the park entrance...
We stayed at the Desert Camp, not far from the park entrance gate. It was an easy drive to the park, and the 60km of wonderful tarred road to the 2 wheel drive car park. This gives access to Dig Daddy dune and Deadvlei.
From here the park vehicle took us to Big Momma dune, and also goes to Hidden Vlei. All very easy.
Dune 45 is 45 km along the road. The bus cost 180 Namibian dollars in October 2023. Wear runners to climb the dunes and walk to Deadvlei. Har, sunglasses and water are essential. We ate at the restaurant inside the park gate. Good and affordable. We bought our water at the shop there. Breakfast at the Sossusvlei Lodge was good too.
I would recommend paying extra for tyre and glass insurance when picking up your rental car. Prior to coming to Sesriem, we had a flat tyre far from anywhere and Hertz directed us to a lodge with tyre repair services. We had to go on to Outjo to get the fixed tyre replaced, but the insurance made it less of a concern.

Best place to experience the oldest desert on earth.
Best place to experience the oldest desert on earth. Wonderful place to spend time with. At least you need to stay 1 night inside park to make sure that you can go to Deadvlei early in the moring. Take photos with shade of light. Hiking at Daddy dune in the morning and slide down to deadvlei.

Sesriem is an oasis in the desert and everything is well organized but basic. Prepare well before you go. The cleanliness of the entire area is remarkable. The Namibian people are very friendly and helpful - don't be shy to ask for advice.

I loved the dunes, but we should have got there a bit earlier in the day for the best photographic opportunities. We stayed at We Kebi Lodge which was exceptional value for money, and I would have loved to stay there for a longer stay.

The road in from Mariental (273Km) and out to Walvis Bay (315 Km) were sand/gravel, and in a poor shape for large portions. Other than that it was a great stay. 2 nights should be a minimum with at least one day to frolic in the dunes.

Accommodation in and around Sesriem and Sossusvlei is...
Accommodation in and around Sesriem and Sossusvlei is slightly on the expensive side for locals and South Africans. However, it is one of those things that you have to see and experience should you be able to travel the gravel roads of this vast country.
It was the best hotel staff on our Namibia round trip !!!! Attentive, helpful, but also humorous. Our companion for the morning and dinner would probably be the employee of the year. Many thanks. The houses are very clean and the grounds well maintained. The way to the entrance of the national park is a bit distant, but for that the wild animals graze right outside the front door.
This was a groovy little hotel, really liked our cabin. It was quite large, the bed was comfy and the shower was huge.
Really good location, right near the park gate. The staff was fantastic, helped us make all our reservations, even helped us with our itinerary for our days there (fixed our itinerary for us, should I say lol).
There is also a pool and bar area to hang out at.
Great place to stay if you are visiting Sesriem. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable to accommodate a family with kids.
The staff is excellent and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay (kudos specially to Paul on this).
Food is also very good and quality and the kitchen staff make sure all your dietary requirements are considered.
+ Our room/cottage was very spacious
+ Area outside of our room was just for us, well equipped for BBQ.
+ We can imagine spending multiple days here
+ Nearby Sossusvlei Lodge offers great adventures (helicopter flight, trips...)
+ Sossusvlei Lodge also covers meals for guests. Everything is smoothly connected. We just had to state our room number
What a fantastic experience that was. You are treated like a king from start to finish. The Hotel Manager has created a superb atmosphere with all the staff. The facilities are greatly located.
I can only highly spoke of everyone looking after us during our stay/
A special thank you to our guide Paolo who made our desert tour extraordinary.
This hotel is the best hotel I've ever stayed. Staffs were really kind and food was amazing. Near water holes, you can see oryx and it's really lovely. The hotel was very clean. We did quad bike tour to see sunrise. The senery was so beautiful and we made a good memory. If I travel to Namibia, I definitely choose this hotel again.
Great location in the middle of nowhere but not too far from Sesriem if you want to visit the dunes. Very pleasant family-owned and run property. Friendly staff, excellent food by a passionate chef. Great cabins with ample of space between for privacy where you disconnect from the world (unless you have a satellite phone).
Amazing lodge and overall experience. Staff is super friendly, food is amazing, lodge is very well designed and the experiences on offer are worth it. Great location within Sesriem area as well, close to the park gates. Would recommend this lodge for those looking for the best experience in Sesriem area.
The location and sunset is awesome ! Hermann who is doing the tour is the perfect person to go with at the dunes, sesriem and deadvlei ! we did as well a game drive wirh hermann is was superbe ! The location is great, staff very smilly and friendly !
Very clean as well ! and great diner !
Everything was perfect. From check in to check out the service and staff were wonderful. Lovely view from the room, comfortable, peaceful, great food and the Gemsbok. 40 mins drive to Sesriem gate. Well worth it to see the dunes. Don't forget Deadvlie and Sesriem Canyon.
Checked in to the hotel and realized although they say it has AC it barely works. Instead we asked to switch to their sister lodge Sossusvlei Desert Lodge and paid for the difference which they were happy to do. Location is great as its right by the gate.
The big tent has comfprtable beds. The stuff is kind and the dinner included in the price was very good, abundant and served with class. The location is about 1h from the gate of Sesriem.
the architecture of the main lodge, the evening buffet and hospitality that came with it, the good location inside the park and ease to get to Sesriem and Sossus.
