Ecolodge is a great spot to spend time in Mancora. The place is peaceful, with plenty of space to relax and socialise/keep to yourself depending on what you want. The manager, Vruno, is fantastic and really adds to the stay. He was happy to help with anything we needed and keeps the energy in the place ticking over nicely. I'd strongly recommend this place to people visiting

Incredible resort. The atmosphere is always very relaxing, the staff are attentive and helpful, and the property is just stunningly beautiful. I recommend getting a massage - it is so relaxing and you can hear the ocean waves. Food was quite good, and the rooms were very nice. I highly recommend.

The whole ambience is very nice and relaxing. The breakfast is great, the pool is clean, a good size and we played volleyball in it. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in at 6 am, when our bus arrived from Chiclayo, without having to pay any additional money. We are very grateful for that gesture. As there is a lot of sun, next to the pool there is an area with a table and chairs that has a roof. There we sometimes "took refuge" while we were in the pool from the intense heat. That environment was a great relief for us. We can't forget the dog "lana". Our companion on walks on the beach. A calm and super friendly animal, we will miss her very much. We recommend it 100%!

We were right on the beach. So it was nice to relax by the sound of waves. Nice for the long walk on the beach in the morning when sun is not too strong.
Restaurants and small coffee houses were not so close to the place we were staying on the beach. But we rented a car so it was easy to get to the town.
The best place to eat was Chef Benites in The Mercado on the second floor. Food was very good and the price even better. Mancora is small town so it is easy to get around.
I like beaches where we can swim, snorkel. And the beach in Mancora is not suitable for it. So I would probably not come here again.

Mancora is chaotic, public spaces are ill kept, roads are calamitous. It is rather noisy, and city planning is something unheard of. Having said that, the town is colourful, and people are lovely, always with a smile and mild mannered. The food is great wherever you go, and there are several lovely areas by the beach. To the south of Mancora you can find perfection: all the buildings are fantastic and there are fewer people and noise. Maybe staying in the south (playa las pocitas and further south) and visiting the north is the right combination?

Visited Mancora 3 times in different months. During the holidays, better stay way!
Beaches crowded, bad service in the restaurants and terrible transportation options.
If you have chance, better visit from August to November.
Recommend Los Órganos and Vichayito beach!

Mancora is an OK city on the shoreline of the North coast of Peru. Too many Venezuelan refugees now and pick pockets, few policemen visible on the streets/patrolling. Not the tourist paradise anymore as before. Not safe and clean enough. Restaurants ok in general but few good ones. Better to spend 1-2 days there as a group. And go for the day tours to other places! Better go to Paracas instead! Safer and cleaner with better food and beaches ⛱️

Mancora is a charming little surf town.
Mancora is a charming little surf town. I only experienced it during the day, but it looks like it heats up after dark and can be a real party place. Pretty much every meal I had at a restaurant was delicious.
The town is walkable but there are tuc-tucs available at your beck and call. The beach is large and expansive and the water nice and warm.
I arrived in Mancora via Talara; I flew from Lima to Talara, took a cab to the Eppo bus station (10 soles), and took the bus to Mancora (7.50 soles). The bus journey is around 1hr 45min. I bought my return bus ticket in town the night before my return flight. It was all reasonably easy!

Nice place, but we expected a bit more of the surrounding areas. To start with, we had to ride 3 hours from Piura to get to Mancora, and once there, another ride of 20 minutes over a very uneven road.
Really nice hotel, so nice I extended and stayed for a week. Really chilled out place and all the staff were wonderful and friendly. They resolved any issues without a fuss. It’s a nice spot in Mancora, close to everything you need, and right next to a small beach but far away enough to be out of the hustle of the town. During the week the area is really quiet and at the weekend you can hear some music from surrounding bars but this is standard for Mancora. Would stay again.
The owner is an extremely nice and welcoming man. The location at the beach is amazing. We also made a lot of use of the surrounding facilities (restaurants, hostels with bar etc.). The terrace at the beach house is a good place to relax. You can easily walk to the center or other parts of Mancora. We have stayed at Mancora Beach House for four weeks and we found it an amazing place to stay.
Great place to stay in Mancora and Luis is an amazing host and all time great guy. Location is great, it's walking distance to centro, near restaurants and kioskos, but far enough and quiet enough to hear the birds. Close to the beach and surf point. Internet is top notch, 100mbps, video calls went smoothly 👌🏽. Comfy room and okay kitchen. Highly recommend!
In every way a perfect Hotel! Staff are always extremely kind and helpful. Hotel is in a brilliant location - a stones throw away from the beach, town centre, market & bus terminal. Room was perfect. Wifi was good. Breakfast was lovely. I visited all my friends hotels & hostels in Máncora and Mamma Mia was clearly the best. Strongly recommended to book!
The accommodation was great, the front desk staff very kind, the staff attending the breakfast and all the meals were very careful, the menu was fine, the common spaces were nice, the nearest to the beach was excellent. The beach in front of the hotel was excellent, clean and with not so many people. The distance to the main Mancora beach was ok.
Patryk and Eve were the best hosts we have ever come across! They were so accommodating and would do anything to ensure you have the best stay possible in Mancora. The hostel also is perfect and only a 5 minute walk from the beach and is a chill place. There are good cooking facilities and a great communal area to hang and meet the other guests.
The pool was good.
There were some arguments and fights among couples there which were a little bit disturban.
The Loki has changed a lot since the last time I went there before covid. Before was a great place for partying. Nowadays there are not parties a lot. Thankfully, there are other places to party around in Mancora.
This hotel has a great view of the ocean. I could hear the waves breaking into the sand during the night while I was falling sleep, so relaxing. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you with any question you might have. The restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine. The food here is awesome, I truly recommend it.
The staff was wonderful and the main reason that it's hard to give this hostal as low a review as it might otherwise get. Dominika treated us to a lovely Easter brunch celebration and was very helpful and kind. Location is near a quieter beach, hostal had use of a kitchen, a hot water kettle, fridge etc.
Everything. Most of all Jessica and Denis who run the place, they were the best hosts. I stayed in the dorm room which was very cute and comfortable. The place is super clean and the breakfast is the best I had in Peru. It’s only a short walk from the beach too. Muchas gracias Jessi and Denis 💛
Amazing boutique hotel with a beautiful beach in front, in a remote location; fantastic view from the room; great service; good drinks that can be ordered directly from the beach via a handy online system;
Very close to a quiet part of the beach. Located in a quiet area of Mancora, and yet only 7 minutes walk from all restaurants and bars. Breakfast is delicious. The overall atmosphere is super relaxed.
The perfect spot if you're looking for a low-key Mancora getaway. Super clean and comfy, incredibly gracious and helpful staff, and a beautiful nourishing breakfast each morning.
A pretty simple hotel, room, but in a wild place, with not many people around.. beachfront, 50m from the sea.. a lovely place quiet place. would definitely come again
Hotel courtyard is s beautiful and calming oasis with a nice pool and is around a 10min walk from the beach. and the attention from the owner and staff was great.
Great hotel, run by a really lovely and kind couple who were so friendly. Fresh mango juice for breakfast and good location (close to beach and tasty restaurants)
The rooms were clean and staff was helpful. If wi-fi and hot water aren't priorities, it is probably a decent short-stay option for Mancora given the price.
