Very, very friendly host who showed the cottage. She spoke basic English, so we could get along well. They also told us where the local store was so we could buy food. Very beautiful surroundings, so this place is suitable not only for relaxing with family or friends, but also for wedding celebrations, as there is a large guest house next to the cottage, where a wedding was celebrated right after we left. Next to the cottage there is a beach, lounge chairs and a beautiful swimming area. Possibility to use the grill.

The location is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Views from the rooms are breath-taking.
The rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean and the fridge, kettle and other items are perfect for looking after yourself during your stay.
The customer service is 6* - when we sat outside our rooms, the owner bought us blankets and cushions so we would be warm and cozy - i would'nt expect this unless I was in a a luxury hotel and it was a gorgeous touch!!
The owners could not have done more to make sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay.
We HONESTLY cannot wait to return to this little piece of heaven by the lake.

We didn't see all of Kashuba but from what we did see this was the best town in the national park. Good food, extensive shop, beach, canoe and boat hire, direct access to nordic walking routes, tourist information (lots of maps with all the walking and cycling routes).
