At first it may look like a rundown hotel (it’s an old building) but surprisingly it’a super clean. The hotel is inside the alishan park. The staff is super friendly! The breakfast is in a small restaurant near the hotel, it’s nothing special but does the job. The heating mattress is a plus because it can get really cold at night.

Nice sceneries of mountains and tea plantations round the chalet. Clean and nice chalets. Nice sitting area where you can help yourselves to tea and enjoy the view. The owner is a tea plantation owner and you can drop by his office which is just on the way to the chalet to check in. Breakfast was quite nice and huge - glutinous rice cooked with pork and mushroom, 1 sunny side up egg, 1 large plate of cabbage and some raddish pickles. After breakfast, there is a free tea session. Owners are humble.
